Default Nabi, "We'll celebrate after series win"

Md. Nabi told that Afghanistan team will only celebrate after their anticipated series win against Bangladesh. http://m.bdnews24.com/bn/detail/cricket/1219920

You can also translate that into: be scared Bangladesh

Well, they have nothing to lose. We, on the other hand, have everything to lose.

I liked their attitude, they want to win a series against us.

To us, back in the days, a single win alone seemed enough that is why we never achieved much.

If you shoot for a 100, you might get 80
You shoot for an 90, you might get a 70
shoot for 50, you will get 40.

Aim high, have high expectations and eventually you will have better results.

Talk about arrognce.

I bet the certain neighbors won't have any issues with Nabbi saying this even though his team is associate. But had any of our players said such thing, they would label ours as "c.cky" "arrogant"

This is a fair assumption. The guy just earned man of the match for a beautiful all round display...,Let him speak.

I agree with you, when you are performing you have all the right in the world to say whatever you want. You perform, you get bragging rights. When you don't perform, no matter what you say will be rendered "insignifcant"

Afghans dominated both matches, even though they choked in both matches at the end (lost the last match and made today's win much harder than it should have been). Unless the tide change, they do have a realistic shot to win the series.

They are associate all right but they are showing this arrogance against another mediocre team. Not sure why you mocking Afg for being an associate nation when in reality BD has done nothing in test cricket.

H2H in ODI's

Total games - 4
Afg won - 2
BD won - 2

The reason why Indians troll Mushy and called arrogant because he was trolling a team that has achieved everything and has all trophy in the kitty. And that too in twitter after a 3rd team got the job done unlike Nabi who spoke after his team won a game.

Good for them.

Nabi looking confident, and has every right to be. If we were to include that BCB XI game as a part of the series, they could've possibly been 3-0 if they didn't choke the last game.

They should have won the series already... unlucky they choked the first match and almost choked last night! Trend here?

Choked > Almost Choked > GUESS the next pattern

What do you guys think about Mohammad Nabi? Find him a terrific cricketer, very competitive, very astute, intelligent. At the same time, quite a gentleman.

If he were a Bangladeshi, would he easily find a slot in the team?

He would be an excellent no. 7 batsman for us. Bowl quality off spin too. Can shepherd the innings and play aggressive in the death

I like Nabi very much, I guess our Moshrraf hossain Rubel is at the same level of player.

By the way, i can bet we are gonna win the third match and the series. Moshrraf hossain is in instead of Rubel.

Mosharraf Hossain Rubel is a useful lower order bat it must be said.

However, to my surprise, Rubel's performance in FC and BPL has been excellent BUT his performance in list A looks sub-par and he hasn't been selected too often either. only 75 list A appearances! Actually, he hasn't taken a single wicket in his previous 4 List A matches!

Nabi has every right to say it. Even mash said the same that we are lucky to be alive in this series. If we don't bat better doesn't matter how many bowlers you add. And can we get some decent umpires please?

Rahmat got robbed like he was Bangladeshi in the 2nd ODI apparently...we still LOST.

Umpiring is no excuse against a lower ranked side.
