Default Bangladesh's prospect in Asia Cup 2012

As Mash is back with a bang, Ice Man on fire with Nasir to supply additional fuel and Sunny to light up; I see light, sunshine and fire in the upcoming Asia Cup (2012).

Mash - the growling tiger

To me, the tigers have a lot to offer in this Asia cup. I won't be surprise even they take the cup, will you?

I too would like a script of the happy pills you seem to be taking!

Bangladesh to win the cup...and not only win it, but to go undefeated!

We need the top order batsmen to fire to stand any chance of a win.

Every other side has declared their squad for the Asia Cup except us . Players have played in the BPL , not the selectors .

Whenever we expect too much and feel like we can do something better this time around, then this happens -

I just hope that Young guns get a full series and Ashrafool sits out. Period.

Shouldn't do that bad, given they bowl well.

Tough ask being realistic. Everyone will be happy with a win, but its pretty unlikely. You all saw how our main players couldnt compete with fringe players. Now we will have to take on the big guns-and all of them are ready to fire.

Sri Lanka is in top form. We all know what Pakistan can do. India will have a lot to prove after Australia tour. The best i am hoping for is some good individual performances, and we compete in all the matches.

I want us to compete at least for 80 overs and not be 5 wickets down under fifty in any of the games. Plus hopefully no scores below 100 also

Done for? And who would replace him? As if we got world class players just riding the bench.

Now don't put your hope too high !!! We all know despite having some brilliant players we always choke in a big stage .. . All I want from them is to fight till the end.. I don't care about the results but I want to see them to be more competitive than what they have shown in the last few series.. We know they have the ability and they are playing regular cricket since the WI series.. So expecting a better show this time!!!

Right.. If Ash can get soo many opportunities and if he can get back his form then we should be more patient with Tamim.. We can't write him off soo easily !!

It's not only that. He's 1 of our best players. On top of that, he's relied upon to give us a good platform. Take him out and we'll lose that dimension to our team.

the perfect place for tamim to get his from back in is domestic cricket and not in international.

^He proved himself already in domestics. We just have to see how he does in internationals. And who else will we put in? I would understand if Tamim was a fringe player but that's not the case. And we're not India who have players that can fill in for Sehwag.
