He has been studied by the other teams extensively as he is so crucial to BD-they've worked out his technique, hopefully he comes out of this as other good players have done in the past

Without a doubt he has been studied extensively. He will have to adjust and work out harder to correct some flaws that has creeped up. That long time away with injury didn't help either. He is visibly carrying some extra weight that need to be shed. You can have a broken finger, but that shouldn't stop you from maintaining your cardio and weight. His game is based on reflexes and quick eye. Being out of shape probably had some effect on his game. That all can be corrected. Quality is there. He seemed a little vulnerable to balls pitching on offstump and jagging in a bit.

It is very sad to see how quickly our fans start bashing our players after
couple of bad days.

Yes that's true, regarding fitness I think subcontinental players have less commitment compared to the other nations. Hussey after his injury (hamstring) still maintained his fitness. The aussies players despite injuries maintain a high intensity of training in the gym, Imran Khan still trains as a 59 yr old.

Tamim isn't the traditional left hander that moves across to cover his off stump which helps him with his off side shots but he does leave a large gap between bat and pad-that being said so does sehwag. I don't think he needs to change his style more so the fact you mentioned with his hand-eye coordination.
