Match ruled unconstitutional as BCB sues Big Benn
In an unprecedented move, Bangladesh Cricket Board is suing Suleiman Benn for violating the 8th Constitution of the United States of America which prohibits from inflicting cruel and unusual punishment. Reverend Jesse Jackson, as the District Attorney representing the Tigers, announced in press how Suleiman Benn crossed the line by taking two wickets in the 19th over, an action which is a clear violation of the Spirit of the Game clause.
The captain Shakib-al-Hasan in an outcry denounced Benn's continous flighted deliveries. "This is outrageous," said the Captain, "We live in an evolved society where beamers are frowned upon and bouncers are limited to one an over, yet Mr. Benn unscrupulously was turning the ball one after another. We just want to send a message that no one is above the law and just because someone is six foot seven doesn't mean he should tower above the rest. He badly needs some humble-pie check."
Pace captain and ex-captain Mashrafe Mortaza came in defense of the current captain. "Look no one is denying that you should use spin to your advantage, but when Benn shoots a yorker then you know how conniving and Machiavellian a person can get," explained the injured player who got left out of the squad. "I mean you are bowling with a short run up. It's okay if you are Malinga, but as a spinster? To bowl a yorker from short distance is akin to kicking a disabled player in wheelchair down the freeway."
When asked if Mortaza read "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli, Narail express got annoyed. "Please. Tupac is alive. But this is not the time to debate his existence. Now on topic I strongly recommend that Judge Roberts overturn all of Benn's decision in the World Cup. The man is clearly taking growth hormones. How would you feel if I show up at the match all drugged and high on crack," fumed the frustrated bowler.
And when BCB was questioned about the crowd's reproachable behavior of stoning buses, Rev.Jackson shot back in ex parte, "So if some group of villagers stone a person to death it's okay and sugercoated as "The Lottery" and made part of student's reading curriculum in high school but if some men of color do so the same then you think that's a problem? Who is the real enemy? The people who trample and subjugate us and write the books to propel a movement or the people of blindly and innocently follow it?" Louis Farrakhan, ACLU and others backed him up and mentioned that while they "condemn the violent actions" but to generalize it to entire nation is "blatant racism."
When asked if Reverend Jackson read "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson the attorney got annoyed. "Let me guess, you think I don't read books? Why is it because I am black?"
On a related news, BCB is planning to follow up with copyright infringement lawsuits for the moniker of "Big Ben" because of "unlawful impersonation of a monument". When a befuddled Sulaiman was asked about his thoughts regarding this issue: "Wait. When did "I" use this term?" it was hinted that Benn's defense would likely be Insanity as he is still in a state of denial about his Shutter Island like crime of 4/18 with bloody marks in his hand from the ball.
