Default Storm front warning: Gayle approaching

Yet, another WC preview by Zee. This time he focused on Gayle. Is he right?

Storm front warning: Gayle approaching
Zeeshan Mahmud

On the eve of quite possibly the most important World Cup match for Bangladesh, cricket weather man looks at the darkening clouds and hoists a warning flag. Bangladesh needs to batten down the hatches and weather this storm.

offffffffffffff now thats one damn sexy article!

but again, baseless criticism of Rubel from ZeeshanM. But we've been through this before so I won't pick it up again. Cameron Cuffy fact displays an impressive knowledge of the game.

I am guessing AhmedN never liked winning in Monopoly. Lol...

As for me, I am still reeling from Malinga shockwaves, humbled, and inspired to perfect my craft. So this is just the beginning...

aosaif bhai thanks. And tbh, after the recent discussion with Ian, I was rethinking about his issue. And I am still reeling from Malinga shockwaves, humbled, and inspired. So something tells me Rubel might surprise us going with the winning squad.

I had a flash after reading that post. I saw Zee-man crying a little bit (but his pants got wet, not his eyes). Even I got scared just by reading it. ;P

Wonderful piece of writing Zee bhai. Really enjoyed it.

@ AhmedN: What's your point mate? Was that sarcasm? Why don't you write the next article and then complain.

Thanks. Special acknowledgement to a higher power for the title though. It was his/her idea entirely.

That man can produce yorkers as if they can be bought at the supermarket! There has not been a more dangerous pacer since the days of Wasim and Wakar, when he is on. And he learnt how to bowl yorkers after coming to the national team.

Our pacers could learn a lot by watching his (and the 2 W's) films.

Bimuda thank you. Today earlier when I read your statements about Gayle's importance I was hoping you'd read this piece.

Rubel will pumped for sure. Add Dale Steyn's street smart...and we will have a one of a kind.

While all the focus on Gayle Daren Bravo can steal the show. A good offspiner with decent armour could disturb Gayle's stump easily. Do we have any of such kind? Yes but we are keeping him out of playing. I am talking about Riyad.
Good article anyway Zee vai and good initiative to focus on a opposition player whose success or failure eventually decide the match largely. But I didnt like too much your certainity over Ash as a better option at no. 7 position than Riyad. The matter is highly highly debatable and you seem impose your personal opinion in the article in too certain manner. But that was only matter of two lines and can be forgettable after reading the full article.

A lot of good points Rafi - but the article _is_ the perfect place for an author to interject his/her personal opinions. An article is NOT a News Article, nor a BC Bulletin nor a Press Release. This is what makes an article eminently readable.

Do also note our caveat in the article section:

Quote:
Opinions expressed in this article are those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views of BanglaCricket unless explicitly stated.

Agree with you Boss. I am just talking about my disliking on this part. I believe someone like Murad vai or Bond will like the part of the article. As a reader I could want the article in my way and very frustrate that Zee vai still believe in Ash. Come on Zee vai, aar koto hotash hoben!:-)
