Congrats! Med school is the fun part. Enjoy And moving out of home is even better.

I echo Orphy in saying when you get a moment to sit down and think about it, it's the best job ever. But some days you'll want to quit and become a kindergarten teacher or a travel agent. Anyway that's way ahead. Study hard but don't forget to play hard, it's pretty much your last opportunity.

Btw Orph I think UK doctors get paid way less than American and even Australian ones

I'm working as a HCA on geriatrics at the moment, and absolutely love it. I'd like to either specialise in that or mental health. They're both linked in some way.

Threw my best BBQ this weekend for 25-30ish people. First batch of stuff wasn't up to my usual level, but then I got going!

"Pic or didn't happen?" - i threw a BBQ not travel to mars.

I made sure most of the sausage were on my grill. May be like 2-3 Bengalis. They don't eat ribs and stuff, or swim, so not too many showed. Only the fun ones came.
