Actually its better to let a smoker know of why he should not smoke. In that way we can earn some 'Sawab' instead of getting burdened with unnecessary sins.

After smoking for 13 years, I have finally managed to quit smoking since 4th November 2010. Its been over seven months and I've been mostly nicotine free. Had a puff here and there if offered by friends, but dont have that craving for nicotine anymore.
I just make sure that those now and then puffs dont get regular and dont let the habit come creeping back again.

I started to smoke when I was in class six just out of curiosity and becoming a serious smoker when I was a student of class 9 back in 1995. Smoked till 18th September 2005. Didn't smoke after that day. My average smoking was one and half packets a day.

Just don't think of to much that you've quite smoking it will cause another kind of indirect pressure on you. Take it easy and as you are not smoking for the last seven months now you can safely call your self a non smoker. Smoking is a past tense for you just feel healthy and strong.

A-ha, its same here. I continued smoking for more than 15 years, SIGH and now I feel weird when I smell some one smoking next to me. And I had puff from friends and it doesn't attract me anymore! I hate SMOKING now.
