Akhtar is not the problem. We need to get rid of our players to win. They get satisfied before the job is done. Look at Suzon's laughing face in the picture thread. Even Alexander the Great did not have that kind of 'won the world' look in his face when he passed through Peshawar.

There is still Younis Khan playing in the 3rd test, and is Saqlain Mushtaq going to play? It was our batsman's fault that Danish Kaneria got all those wickets, but Saqlain Mushtaq is a much more experienced bowler than Kaneria and I still think that our batsman are weak against spin on turning tracks.

Chances of a BD victory in the 3rd test are greater than of a single Indian test victory in Austrailia this year.

DONT MAKE SO BIG FUN OF INDIA
INDIA WILL WIN THE TEST SERIES 4-0 AGAINST AUSTRALIA IN AUSTRALIA.
Dont want to restart the debate but even James thinks that it will be a 3-1 win for Australia. even he thicks 1 test win for India.

I agree with fwullah. Younus Khan is back with Saqlayen. And it's Saqlayen who can make the destruction with his famous Dusra though he is not in good nick now a days.
Anyways if our batsmen bowlers and Captain (he is neither batsman nor bowler:P) thought that their job is done after showing some very good performance then no Saqlayen can do harm for them, they themselves are enough for them.
Thank You
Shafi

Amit:
You are letting the dust and soot of Cannaught place, get to you. Step out into reality, away from the Bajaj and Maruti fumes, and smell the coffee. There is just no way India will win 4-0 against Australia- not unless they field the state team from Victoria with David Hookes at the helm.
But, you have a right to your opinion. I do want to thank you though for the now famous 'Amitting' stlye of reporting. It brings a lot of comic relief to a lot of us.
Your humble servant,
reinausagi

if india cant win a test series away from home against any test nation.
Amit how are they going to win away against the best team in the world. also a whitewash.
Amit you need to be realistic and not always think india is the best, cause they arent.

reading some of the posts, theyre seems to be too many hypocrites here.
one minute their saying that shoaib akhtar is useless and crap. then as soon as the news appears that shoaib isnt playing the next test then youve got a great chance of winning.

Mudasser;
Shoaib Akhtar on his day is a excellent bowler. Unfortunately, 'his day's are far and few between. I don't recall his being derided as a bad bowler in this forum. What may have been attacked, was his percieved ungentlemanly conduct during the first test.
You may also recall that the linkage between BD' chances of winning the 3rd test and Shoiab Akhtar's unavailability was made by our friend in New Delhi. My post "Chances of a BD victory in the 3rd test are greater than of a single Indian test victory in Austrailia this year." was just as a good natured teasing of Amit, who predicatbly, came out with both barrels blazing in post where he was "mad mad:" at any and all real or imaginary insults to Indian cricket.
Getting back to Shoaib Akhtar:
I certainly would not like to pad up and face Shoaib Akhtar on the crease... Although many in my old para club fancy their chances against Ashish Nehra and Zaheer Khan. (Just kidding Amit, don't get mad buddy!)
Regards.

Is there a specific reason you have targeted the 4th ODI as a win possibility?

what i find stupid is that shoaib akhtar has been replaced by saqlain mushtaq.
in my opinion saqlain should replace kaneria in the third test. kaneria has not been as affected as many expected.
to replace shoaib, dont see why their not giving abdur rauf a chance.
he is as quick shoaib and sami and also very young.

Amit,
Shoaib is not a problem of bd.The main problem is They lose their consentrate in the game. They play well in te first innings but they lose their consentrate in the second inings. If they overcome his they can easily do a great job for Bd cricket history.
thxzzzzzzzz

Spot on Mudasser, Abdur Rauf is ATLEAST as fast as Shoaib but that's not all, he is 24 yrs old and 6.4 ft tall. His domestic performance has been EXCELLENT, he has taken 127 wickets in 25 FC games averaging 22.25.
Just watch out for this guy who is VERY quick and sooner or later will represent Pakistan without any doubt and in few years he will become one of the best bowlers in the WORLD INSHALLAH!!!!!!!!!!

This is Pak Academy's latest photo taken just before the tour of South Africa and u guys might see one or two of these players against Bangladesh especially opener Salman Butt who scored 233 against SA academy team look at Rauf in the middle, he is so Tall and must have a high aram action.
Hopefully the photo works bcoz it's my first time.
