Q: How are your preparations going for the double header?
A: Keeping it cool and looking forward to the matches. We would always want to win when we go onto the field but in cricket anything is possible. So I call the boys not to lose confidence if we face a defeat or two because we can always pick our performances back up.

Q: Are you nervous about captaining the team in the inaugaral domestic comp?
A: Not at all, I am confident we can pull off the series. Bring it on!

Q: Does the fact that all performances are assessed by a panel of selectors add extra pressure?
A: Not really! Infact it's a good thing for the team, survival of the fittest. So people will give 100% to fight it out for a place which can only be positive for the team

Default Pitch Report

Looking on the pitch it looks dry and it will bounce more than traditional Dhaka wickets. It looks batsman friendly and there are a few cracks which should open up as the match progresses so it will be a big toss to win. It's really hot and humid out here, I sure hope the players remembered their deoderant

...fielding in the gully region...Piranha is on fire with his inswiger, and Chinaman's decent pace and accuracy beat the hell out of Alok team's openers! Oh man habibul_fan and Unknown look soo shaky and nervous...beaten and almost edging, have no clue how to deal with our opening spell! Hope the wicket will have some crack so that my off break will turn out to be a nightmare to the opponents

Agent was caught on film/audio sledging Unknown. Fielders are also chiping in I see. Given the tense atmosphere seems like the opening pair have successfully negotiated the pitch and the rather innocous balls offered.

Dances down the pitch and thrashes one over to the crowd for a huge six. Next delivery goes for a four but only just as the wicket keeper misses a great chance to see Unknown back in the pavilion after edging it.The run rate picks up as the twentieth over is the best in the innings.

Score stands at 80/0 after 20 overs.

Sloppy fielding by Team Sarkar; 200SX fails to pick the ball up on his first attempt, missing a great run out opportunity as Habibul and Unknown hesitates taking the second run.

Both batsmen have a little chat at the end of the over as a result.

Habibul steers the ball square for two. He shows great form by driving another over the boundary rope. Its a good over.

Score is going at a steady rate and both batsmen have established themselves with a solid partnership from a shaky start.

Pundit has brought himself into the attack with strapping on his fingers, the umpire asks him to remove the tape from his fingers as it will help with grip on the ball

I appreciate people's interest and input in the game however I would like the point out that the game has been played out BEFORE the game starts so scores can't be posted as it may contridict with what actually happened, thanks
