Default If CricInfo was fair, what should be their title today?

Bangladesh answers critiques.

That was before end of day two. Now it should at least say "Bangladesh restore pride".

We've certainly done much better, although i wouldn't go as far as to say pride has been restored, since another innings defeat looms.

Yet scoring nearly 300 against quite possibly the second best attack in the world is no mean feat.

You have omar as one of the dodgy decision.. It should be Iqbal.

If not for umpire we would have gotten our 700 runs to win this match. Nafis and Bashar decisions decided the outcome of the game :p

by the way, the title of Cricinfo should be "Bangladesh Won" in green letters.

Previous quote: Tiger hunting season has started - its official.

follow up: The tiger hunter is missing. Officials belive tigers hunted him.

1. "Tigers shows their spots"
2. "Tigers bats like Test cricketers for once"
3. "Tiger bats with Test Status in the pockets"
4. "Brave fightback by the Tigers"

Reading this thread, you'd think Bangladesh was a session away from victory, instead of 47 runs away from an innings defeat.

I fear for our team if taking tests to a third day is the new milestone for success.

Aftab is not gonna get his 100 today. If he does, then that'll come as a surprise to me, after Rahim hundred & Rahim's inclusion in the Lord's Test.

Bangladesh won the battle
Since Cricinfo is an International website, so they should be as neutral as possible.

For example, putting the above quote in their headline would mean that Cricinfo is an International website with a biasness towards Bangladesh.

So, the best headline for Cricinfo would be something like this:

'Bangladesh won the battle, but England on course of winning the war'

guys... lets not get carried here..shall we...??

after playin three reallly really pathetic horrible out-of-the-world innings...

our batsmen managed to restore some pride...after almost loosing it all...

lets not forget..we r a test playin nation...
the second innings is what our a typical innings should be..in every test...

our aim should be making around 250-300 at least at any test..any innings..anywhere in the world...couple of batsman making 50+...one may be hitting the 100+.... thats how u take the game to fourth or fifth day...
whatever happened y'day was still at day 2 of the test... and the match is still gonna be over in 3 days...
so what have we achieved ??

lets just hope our batsmen are coming to their rare senses..n gives a good run for the poms n ozies money during the odi...

our pride is still not secured...
but still...what they played yesterday was simply "great"..compared what was the nightmare last few days ...congrats guys...keep up the good work...
