35 doesn't seem out of place, I would have guessed around 25...he's been earning million plus salary for 6/7 years and in top of that, his majority of his income would be through endorsements

I am happy with Sakib playing CPL because his records are excellent there , besides WI are T20 giants so its all profit.

Right, plus I don't think he really splurges. So 35 mil is very believable.

Why do we need to be so harsh on Shakib?

He generally underperforms in domestics but always gives his all for his country. He is the leading all-rounder in world cricket and has been so for last 4-5 years considering all formats.

He hasn't done too well with KKR because he was never used properly. Having to come in during the death to slog? He is more of a grafter who is excellent in finding the gaps and rotating strike. That is what made him such a top player. He is not known for being a finisher. Either put him at 4 or 5 or not play at all but don't make chawla or holder bat above him atleast
