I thought I had close to 2000 posts. I see its near 1200 now!!

Any thoughts??

Could be a database glitch. Will look into it.

Can you see your very old posts?

Actually, it looks like not only has the count fallen by ~ 800, but it does not increment. A post dated Aug 18, 2002 is at 1214 (not possible), and so is the one right above.

Lets see what this gets posted as?

I think this is an under arm Chinaman trick.

It shows the total number of your posts in every post. Not the serial number of that particular post.

But yeah, it's a glitch.

I have just checked your post count in database, and its 1218. You were short by 2. I have updated your post count.

With the thought of post counts...
can you guys (mods) find the top 10 poster of the year?? and how many were they?

it would be good to see who among us raked up the most posts throughout the year
