Please wait for the new generation
It is really unrealistic to even think that BD cricket team will improve very soon. My personal opinion is that it will take at least 10-15 years or might be more to be equal with the other test playing nations. We have to wait for the next generation.
We have to consider the socio-economic, cultural, political and genetically heredity of our nations. Good generations can grow up with healthy socio-cultural system. We have to wait for that. There is no Bangladesh who have done any thing remarkable in the international perspective. Young gentleman please be quite.. and wait for the new generation…

Why are you guys so down? There are three more innigs of play left ( potentialy ). Anything can happen. We will bounce back in the second innings.

to my fellowmates,
we played against development squad
consists of way below twenties
scroing 266 thatz why it'z not absurd
now we can see looking at the score
the idea of our development, just ignore
selected three will stop our process
inclusiong of these three wont make any
progress
again selection process going to make a big mistake
please change the structure, for God sake

oh! the naysayers!
This pessimism is killing me. Guys try and put a lid on it until the game is over. Its just a game. Its just another step. The kids have to learn it the hard way. Its a journey with lots of ups and downs. If you want to last long as a fan you guys need to develop a good stomach.

Unlike the senior team, the colts of U-19 never hesitate to dispatch the bad ones to the boundary. Do a comparison of a scorecard of the senior team, in a given match, to the u-19 team. You will see heck of a lot more boundaries in the innings of an U-19 game. Sometimes, to tell you the truth, watching the seniors play in ODI's makes one bored.

no complain to our youngsters
i pray for them to be superstars
and i know they will be in future for sure
but development process needs a cure
me writing to let know our cricket board
so that they send our youngster to abroad
Nannu, akram didn't get that chance, only just bulbul
who wants to see the same mistake happens to nafess, aftab and nazmul

Positive criticism is sometime better than just blindly supporting anything. The beauty of this forum is that different comments and opinions are coming out in this forum.

That would be nice but we can see only one direction in the non-practice games.

Ahh! the smart quips! the witty oneliners! we Bangalis are so good at them There has been only ONE non-practice match so far. If you think that whole match just went in one direction then I guess I follwed a different game.
As for positive criticism vs. blind following (as posted by Ibrahim): That takes the cake really. I doubt that all the gasps of dissapointment and frustration that was posted on this thread as a wicket fell have tremendous positive impact on the state of our cricket. I mean come on! its ok to vent our frustration (in the previous post I said we should control it somewhat) coz after all we are fans and this is where we should be able to do so, but really to call all of that positive/concrete criticism is stretching it my brother. All I was saying that all the "we are all gonna die...our U19 sucks too so what are we gonna do...there is no hope" etc. was getting a bit monotonous. Once you have been with a message board as long as I have been you would know what I am talking about.

Anybody watching the game live!
It sounds that again "FISHING " is the main cause of this collapse. Four caught behind the stumps!
