Default Bangladesh in 2009 20/20 World Cup to be played in England

Just read this:

Groups For 2009 Twenty20 World Cup Announced

Groups For 2009 Twenty20 World Cup Announced

The groupings for the 2009 Twenty20 World Cup, to be held in England, have been announced after the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board met in Dubai.

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had asked for the groups to be laid out well in advance in order for them to proceed with organising the tournament and deciding which venues will host.

As no rankings officially exist for Twenty20 cricket, the groups were based on finishing positions at the 2007 tournament in South Africa. Group A sees reigning champions India taking on Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, Pakistan will meet hosts England and a qualifier in Group B, while Group C promises to be hotly contested, containing Australia, Sri Lanka and the West Indies with Group D consisting of New Zealand, South Africa and a qualifier.

Thank you Zainab.

So two teams move to next round? Great.

Lets not start counting on Zimbabwe like we did for Ireland. But then again, the win against India will make our way to the next round, so no probbies.

Next time India see's us in their group, they will not even come to the tournament.

So, it does not matter we are able to beat ZIM or not. We are in 2nd round anyway.

Being a little too cocky, no? We write page after page when someone puts us down but here, we can so easily dismiss India. Lol. I wouldn't be surprised if we lose to Zim.

Two years is a long time and now with a brand new National Coach, even if there is a 25% improvement, this team should perform better in this competition and aadvance further than in this year's competition.
They must improve on their batting and fielding mostly.

Well some people here are getting cocky, but when I said we'll go to the second round in style, what I really meant was that this is probably the easiest group that we could be in, where a win is likely, but certainly not guaranteed, in one or both games. I'm sure many would agree with that, lol.

Actually, that discussion was more about whether we will be playing in Champions Trophy. Unfortunately, the answer is still no.

us fans never learn, DO WE? tch... tch...

confidence and honesty starts from the fans...then on to the players... cricket is a game of luck and luck is inversely proportional to Karma. i will never forget the bastardized defeats to Ireland and Canada and the humiliation Sri Lanka does to us EVERY TIME WE PLAY AGAINST THEM... come on man, learn, we got plenty of cricket left and we are capable of winning every single one of them we meet.

enough of the cocky attitude.
