Pranav Mistry is a PhD student in the Fluid Interfaces Group at MIT's Media Lab. Before his studies at MIT, he worked with Microsoft as a UX researcher. Mistry is passionate about integrating the digital informational experience with our real-world interactions.
Some previous projects from Mistry's work at MIT includes intelligent sticky notes, Quickies, that can be searched and can send reminders; a pen that draws in 3D; and TaPuMa, a tangible public map that can act as Google of physical world. Cool idea and technology but useless from user point of view...

the question is WHY SHOULD I CARRY that card , it has to be in a wallet. And if I carry a wallet then I can equally put other cards there..

Cellphone wallet has much more destructive promise. And hence the big boys jumping into it. People want to carry only cell phone nothing else... and it should function as door key, passport, credit card, bank card, drivers licence, identification.... etc etc... that is the future....

above only be a niche market, u have it/bought it cuz it looks cool... but usability and functionality USELESS>

I agree. It's just another gadget for an adult kid...but cool idea for sure.

Technology is a curse to mankind, I will live my last days in some cabin in the wilderness, restore my primordial connection with mother earth, bathe in the lively stream and drink from the fall, will hunt bon-murgi and wild boars (Rest all are protected under wildlife conservation act) for a living and play kabaddi with monkeys to pass time.
