Bangladesh Cricket Info in Wikipedia

I was browsing the Wikipedia Page on Bangladesh. I noticed that it does not contain information on Sports in Bangladesh. I quickly collected some information on Sports in Bangladesh and added a "Sports" section to the Bangladesh page on wikipedia.

I provided basic collected information about cricket in Bangladesh and also provided link to Bangla Cricket. If interested, you guys may go to the site and provide more information about the cricket in Bangladesh.

Yes..it is important to enrich the Bangla wikipedia section too. People need to contribute more to Bangla wikipedia because it is still lacks in information. Considering the accessibility to worldwide viewers, English Wikipedia on Bangladesh is also very important.

Not as important as the accessibility to the 300+ million Bangla speakers all around the world in their OWN language. It's a shame.

After installing appropiate fonts, only Bhorer Kagoj website's bangla renders properly in Firefox.

Well, I guess, in this case of rendering unicode compliant bangla, firefox sucks.

That's because bhorer kagoj probably uses embedded font rather than browser native unicode bangla font.

Actually you can view it on firefox as well. You have to use Pango as your font rendering engine in Firefox. Now this has to be done during compile time in Linux. Let me see if there's an alternative for windows firefox.

Nope. Firefox sucks in rendering Bangla (and other North Indian scripts) right now.

IE6 (post SP2) doesn't.

Hmm...so I am guessing on windows, firefox doesn't render the font itself but lets XP do the job. And the fonts won't show up correctly unless you have XP SP2 installed. On either browser: IE or Firefox.

That sounds logical.
