Default Will we move past 3 wins in World cup?

2007--Ind,SA,Bermuda

2011--Ire,Ned,Eng

2015--Afg,Sco,Eng

2019--SA,WI,Afg so far

if we can move pass this 3 win cycle this will be a step forward for us and may be that step forward will take us to the semi finals

India and Pak awaits..Tough but not impossible

Every forum thinks that our boys will roll over against both India and pak. Shakib has a thing or two to prove them wrong

Not with Slowmim Dotball around! No we won't. Might edge past Pakistan, but not India.

But the Super Smash Brothers (Soumya and Liton) might bail EVERYONE out on their day. Including the fraudster's mistakes behind the stumps. Have to wait and see.

I don't want to hear anymore "they might have lost but they won our heart". Come on boys, go for the win.

I think we have already won many hearts, liver, spleen, gurda/fefsha/kolija shob.

In the last few weeks, I have received so many compliments from my friends and coworkers. From Indians, Pakistanis, English, and South Africans. They all said "Bangladesh is playing so well" or "Bangladesh is such a good team".

Now I am a very average man. I never received compliments on anything in my life. I don't have the looks or the money or the fame or the swagger. But now getting so many compliments. It makes me so happy. Now I know how Brad Pitt or Ananta Jalil feels everyday. Getting showered by love and compliments.

Ami tai happy.

i dont look at it like that. I look at it as how many full member teams did we beat?

2007 - 2

2011 - 1

2015 - 1

2019 - 3 so far

so already our most successful wc.

Nobody expected Bd to beat South Africa or Afghanistan. So nothing is impossible to achieve. India is beatable we saw how Afghanistan played against them. And Pakistan defeated Nz who has 2 world class batsmen and bowlers.

Was not talking about successful or unsuccessful. Was only talking about win count. We seems to be stuck at 3

If you are talking about success in regards to won matches, than 2007 is still on top..that Ind and SA team was much better than this SA and WI team..and considering our team strength at that time, it was a monumental achievement.

Now if you talk about all match performance then this is without a doubt our best wotld cup, as in 2007 we were very ordinary in the matches we lost. 2015 was a up and down world cup also

If we don’t win against Pakistan, we will end up behind Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the points table. That would mean a terrible failure and a very poor World Cup

On the day, Bangladesh can defeat any team. But we are still at a stage when you have to add “on the day”. In that regard, I don’t see this WC was negative in any way. Only in terms of bowling, this team looks worse off. But in terms of batting and temperament this team has come up a long way.

Totally agree.
Losing to Pak will make it a poor WC for BD.
Beating WI, SA and Afg and fighting hard against Ind and Aus is not enough
