Who cares about India Pakistan Srilanka fights...we play them today or tommorrow anyways.
England is a special gift. They will do anything to run away from playing us. If we can make mince meat out of England, maybe Geoffrey Boycott will stop talking smack about us every month or so.
England vs Bangladesh anyday over the Asia cup

based on those dates, i don't see why we can't do both.
i hope BD sorts this out, we NEED both the england tour and the asia cup.

We have around 1 month gap between our 2nd test and first ODI. So we certainly will play in Asia cup. And Bangladesh might host it as well as the venue is not fixed yet.

"The venue is yet to be decided but our team will participate in England for the two Test matches (May 27-31 at Lord's and June 4-8 at Old Trafford, Manchester) first and return to play the Asia Cup and will again travel to England to participate in the three ODIs' scheduled to take place on July 8 (Nottigham), 10 (Bristol) and 12 (Edgbaston)."
My god, thats a lot of cricket to watch!! Hope our tigers will be on good form, and win most matches.

Just been weighing up the match dates with my exam dates. And again this year, they are clashing. January ones clash with Ind-SL series...and June clashes with Asia Cup.

Now he can use his own leadership for his own country, and make sure BD can participate in the tournament in Malaysia.

I wouldn't be too bummed if we do end up not being able to play in the Asia Cup. I'd rather see us beat England.

I'd rather there was more emphasis on the all important England tour instead of worrying about beating hong kong, india, uae etc in a worthless tournament..

asia cup is not a worthless tournament if you play well. 3 major sides in the tourney, prestige is third only to world cup and champions trophy.
we should host it, haven't hosted it in a while.

This is awesome. We barely get to play tours or tournaments these days, and now we have a choice of either the test/ODI series in England or the Asia cup. Ahh yes...the tables have turned.

What BCB will decide to do? Completely depends on their negotiation skill.

there really shouldn't be an issue, unless the Asia Cup dates have been changed. as somone has already mentioned, there is a one week gap between the end of our 2nd test in england and the start of asia cup - plenty of time to travel and get acclimated. again there is a one week gap between asia cup final and first ODI against England. if need be, we can cut out one practice OD, but i don't think it will come to that.
we should make both series without problems, it will be hectic, but many other teams have played, traveled, and played all within a weeks time.

This is how players get Injured ... going 5000 Miles one way and than going 6500 miles the other way and than 6500 again and 5000 miles for the return trip.
players will get sick from getting there bodies adjusted to the drastic change in climate.
