No team plan at all.
Their captain who is also one of the most feared strikers of the cricket ball doesn't show up in the beginning. Yes, the middle order isn't experienced but with a team like bangladesh, spin doesn't come just in the middle overs. McCullum should be leading from the front but he is just not doing that. Also, too many bits and pieces players instead of specialist.

The Kiwis have won series against England, SA recently - they are a good team.

Maybe they should have selected Ish Sodhi? I like what I see In Corey Anderson. I think he will be a mainstay in the team. And Neesham is deceptively good with the ball. I also like Devcic's composure as an opener, always calm cool and collected.
I don't understand why Nathan Mac is in the team. Always average.
Oh, and as a team, they fielded WAY better than us. It's the only department they beat us in. We were good but not great.

I basically agree with everything here. Sodhi would have been helpful. Corey is a good all rounder.
Their fielding was top notch, classical NZ style. I think this might have something to do with their strong rugby heritage. The players are super fit and agile (except ryder ofcourse).
But collectively as a team they are failing.

It's not rocket science guys, this same New Zealand can still destroy most teams on a green top. It's always difficult for them in the subcontinent, specially in Bangladesh because our pitches are deceptively two paced with uneven bounce. Not to mention we have some very good spinners and some Batsmen who are terrific at home.
Bottom line: when the 8th placed team plays the 9th placed team at the latter's home, a series defeat isn't unexpected.

a team is only strong as its weakest link... mcullum's lack of form is hurting them,, ross taylor needs to perform, they need more plays like kane williamson,,, i miss him just as much new zealand misses him... he is a talented young cricketer....hmmm , on the subject of talented young cricketers, don't we have an abundance of them in that category?... i think that's something to ponder about,, self belief and perseverance is the key-- an recent example of that is Mominul Haque.

Adam Parore: Vaughan must find us classier opponents
By Adam Parore
4:00 AM Saturday Feb 13, 2010
Justin Vaughan has done a very good job revenue wise for New Zealand Cricket.
The time has now come for the chief executive to get around the world, to press the flesh, forge relationships with cricket's power brokers, so we can get decent tours here instead of this nonsense involving Bangladesh.
This Bangladesh side is terrible and even worse than the last one that came here. They rely on a couple of players and there is a massive gap between them and the rest.
The depth hasn't improved, and neither have those leading players. It is very frustrating to watch New Zealand stuck in these doldrums.
New Zealand has done its duty by Bangladesh, who other nations avoid. We shouldn't have to play them again for a good five years.

dug this old gem with help of google. This was an article of ex kiwi WK Adam Parore After Bangladesh's tour of NZ.NZC should have heard his suggestions .Can't stop laughing now

chillax...
this team is still on its transition process. trust me we would look far more clueless if we went to play at New Zealand next week. the team is without their best batsman at the moment, Guptill, their only legendary player Vettori and the only in form batsman Kane.
There is no denying that even with their top squad, they will continue to struggle in subcontinent but they still remain on of the prime competitors for the 2015 world cup and at any seaming condition

currently NZ & PAkisthan are the two worst batting side.
Seriously ,losing by big margin chasing 205 (D/L) & 247, with their so called strong middle /lower order & so called alrounders .
Ross & KAlam playing like they never played spin or never toured sub continent although both have tons of experience playing IPL.
they don't have any excuse.

Frankly speaking, if this was in NZ, we'd probably be at the receiving end of these hidings. We embody the "home-ground bully" tag. Nonetheless, LOVE WINNING.

True. But last time we showed a little sign of improvement in New Zealand. Looking forward to December 2016 when Bangladesh tour New Zealand.
