cold meat is grosss. I used to go on school camps in primary school and they served cold meat and YUUK! I love the taste of hot, spicy and oily meat. Being a curry/brown person ( whatever you people refer "us" type people as ) rules!

I hear you bro! San Francisco has an excellent Turkish deli in the Richmond district where I used to get imported pastirma. Hooked since a Turkish GF introduced me to it in HS. Regular and enhanced with red peppers and herbs.

Turkish food, in general, rocks!

Then there are those excellent Kosher delis for the Jewish versions, Ashkhenazi, Sephardic, and Mizrahi, all good in their own way. Hot pastrami on rye with a variety of crunchy, sweet and sour pickles on the side, matzo ball soup, not many combinations like it ...
