**Match Thread=> 3rd T20I: Bangladesh v Zimbabwe at Khulna, Jan 20, 2016, 15:00 local time (09:00 GMT) **
[ Sundarbans, Khulna Division, Bangladesh ]
VERSUS
[ Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe; Wildlife sighting in Hwange ]
Bangladesh, 2-0 up in the 5-match series will be looking forward to sealing the deal in this match. They will be missing key players in Mushfiqur Rahim and bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman. The most likely replacements will be Mossadek and Abu Hider Rony.
So there will be a more youthful team, but under the watchful eyes and commandeering of skipper Mashrafe things will be in order. Not to forget the experience of Tamim, Riyad, and the IceMan Shakib.
Sabbir started the series with a bang. A big score is around the corner for him. Souyma is also heating up...He might outperform the senior Tamim at the opening slot.
Cricinfo is saying that Elton Chigumbura will return...That might strengthen their batting, if he decides to show up. They will be looking to clean up their abysmal bowling in the form of wides and no-balls.
PREVIEW by Isam: http://www.espncricinfo.com/banglade...ry/963561.html

Mosha
Nurul

Shakib

Shahid/Taskin
It will be criminal to drop Sunny again. He is a really good bowler in T20s especially if the pitch helps the spinners

tbh they are thinking about the WC and sunny will be useless in pancakes of India. no argument if sunny is selected today he'll get 2 to 3 wickets with eco under 6. but that doesn't give us anything

As much as we call them flat pancakes, we need to understand that we will mostly be facing teams from outside Asia in the first round and bowlers like Al-Amin or Shahid won't do much against them I personally believe. And not all Indian wickets are flat pancakes, there is purchase for the spinners/
If Sunny find his rythm, even if he doesn't get too many wickets he can bowl a few tight overs in the middle and that will really choke the opposition given that we have Mustafizur bowling at the death.

dont know about 2nd round as we havent reach it yet but our 1st round matches are at Dharmashala and the pitch there are as flat as it can get. also the stadium itself is very small. sunny will be walking hit me in that stadium.
some of the 2nd round matches are in kolkata and if we reach 2nd round sunny might come in handy so I get your point.

I believe we should target the 2nd round. Gone are the days where we will fear the associates. Yes our 2014 was really below part but let us think about it, we are definitely favourites of going to the next round ahead of the Dutch, Irish and Omanese given the conditions and our recent improvement.
I thought we would struggle against Afghans and Scots in WC but we just beat both teams at the end rather easily. We are a more professional team these days and more than that we are a hungry team.
Our recent success should be credited to these hunger. If you look back at 2014, we were in good positions but we never tried to kill off the oppositions. We had teams at 67-8, 35-5, 50-5, 105 all out yet we lost matches. This year, our wins were rushed. Batsman or bowlers didn't allow a single oppurtunity for the opposition to get back into the game. That is why we didn't lose a single match in 2015, which we were supposed to win. When we were on top, we remained on top throughout the match and choked the opposition. I think we will do the same against the minnows.

Tamim sucks in t20s..the problem is the possible replacements are worse..Imrul/Anamul are even more clueless.
