Why is he batting so low down the order
why the wicket keeper batsman Dhiman Ghosh is being called so down the order..
he should be given chance to bat up

Don't worry, this is our Bangladesh team you are talking about. Once he lasts a few deliveries and scores his first 20, he will be pushed up the order. That's like a century for our batters...
20 = 100
50 = new opener
80 = drop Rajin out of the team, he's slow...

He needs to get a chance up the order and when the score does not read 100/7.

Does it matter? I don't think so.
When he comes in, there is more than 20 overs left. He has plenty of time to settle in. And the arguement of not having partners doesn't stick either. We bat deep. Out tailenders Mash and Abdur Razzak are better than the top orders. He needs to perform.
I still can't get over the run out (where he hold the bat) and exposing Rasel multiple times.

but when its 7 down it doesn't matter how many overs left a young gets its more tougher to score.
its better to send him up the order and see what happens. He is in the team because of his better batting wasn't he?

We don't bat deep all our batsman need to bat in order for us to play 50 overs. Your second sentence has merit. Basically our 1-7 batsmen are just fill up position players in most matches occaisionally they will produce "shesh prodeep" effect. "Shesh prodeep" refers to the final glow of a flame before it extinguishes for good. One of my friends who is a bowler tells me that his favourite batsman is Mashrafee and loved it when Razzak was drafted in for HB during one of the tests against SA. He was so proud of Razzak when he saw that he posted 30 odd in both innings. To the thread opener, I can understand why you would pose such a question because I've asked myself the same question. Keepers are batsman so unless you think the person can bat as well don't select him. I think he could succeed where Sakib bats because Sakib is not a #5-6 batsman more like a #8-9 and he would be in a good team. Our keepers are not put in places to make runs.

Player to watch: Dhiman Ghosh, the young rookie wicketkeeper, has been a livewire in his seven ODIs so far, most exceptionally in the first game against Pakistan where he took four catches. His batting has been disappointing, but he has got a good first-class record and is capable of big hits. A promotion up the order - he batted at No. 9 in Lahore - may not be a bad idea.

His turn has not come yet, as per the rotation plan. Some day, you might find him opening, then we will start telling why he is so up, then he will again go down one by one. By the time a player retires, he will play in almost all the positions in batting order.

he deserves to come so late in the order.. he's not performing.. he's performing like a wicketkeeper ONLY.. not a batsman..

I dont think it would make much difference. But I would love to see anyone except aftab from that number 3 position. He does not belong there.

Too bad the management doesn't seem to realize this.

I prefer Dhiman at no. 7 and Aftab at no. 6, I think the team rules are a good idea but I think it should be assigned to certain players not position in the line-up, for e.g: Tamim, Aftab, Dhiman and everyone below no. 7 can play their natural shots but the rest must play along the ground till the 40th over

And today a #7 just scored 95 and had a chance to score a century. Guess what he is only 21 years old also. Doesn't matter where you come in. If you can play you will score. Dhiman needs to show that he can play.

probably because those batting above him are better batsmen. the way i see it currently there isn't any keeper in BD good enough to consistently score runs in the top 6 so it doesn't matter who the keeper is in that regard. dhiman has an edge over rahim in keeping and batting style because style wise dhiman i guess has more potential to be a big hitter (not that we've seen it). but there's no point in bringing rahim back atm imo because, 1) dhiman isn't doing that bad, at least not compared to how rahim was performing before he was dropped 2) rahim still might be the test keeper, we don't know yet 3) i don't think rahim will learn anything if he comes back now because although he's scored runs it's been in a short period of time, he needs to do it for a long period of time so a) the selectors know he can do it for a long period of time and b) he learns that it takes more than just a few good scores to get back into the team. also dhiman hasn't really been given a good enough chance yet imo.
anyway as for moving up the order i'm solidly believe a player should prove themselves by scoring runs or getting a bunch of not outs, until dhiman can do that then the captain/coach/management can't have any confidence that he'll do well up the order and thus he shouldn't be moved up the order.

because we have few specialist batsman. and don't worry he will get plenty of balls to face even if he's batting at 7
