The choice is yours: Atheletic fielders but poor batsman or better batsman but non-atheletic fielders?
This is a good challenge for the selectors. Ehsanul Haque, Mohammad Ashraful, Talha Jubair who are 3 among 4 national discards who had enough chances at the International stage, not to mention that they are relatively better fielders (Ashraful is certainly a much fielder in particular).
But the thing is that they're poor batsman or poor bowlers.
Now here is an alternative - Mazharul Haque Mridul, who got only 1 chance for Bangladesh National Team and was out for 0, in an ODI, he scored the top score of 41 - at least among the top 6 batsman.
And he is not such a good fielder, I would tell you to compare his physique with a younger version of Akram Khan, probably only a few inches shorter than him. I've seen him field, in short, he struggles to move his body to field.
At this moment, we are not in need of a specialist middle order batsman, but it gives food for thought for the selectors or the BCB people who have arranged this match of BCBXI versus England national team's practice match.
