Good to see the consistency by BD top order particularly Mehrab Jr.

Kopali made a century!!! OMG, he will be getting another chance to National team by virtue of this century and definitely show his 'Pora Kopal' talent for BD national team .

Congrates to Mehrab Jr. and kapali.
Mehrab Jr. is a makeshift opener. against quality attack i am not sure if he can stick it out. But certainly he can claim the a spot in the middle order when the ball is not swinging that much.

Scorecard analysis:
307/6. 5th wicket partnership of 176. assuming bd didn't lose the sixth wicket at the end of the day, they were 126/4? Then no other significant partnership was there.

These boys need to work on that. 400+ would be good enough to get opponent follow-on.

Good to see that this time another two players are showing their merit with the bat.
Happy for Mehrab Jr. beacuse he is one of the next generation of players knocking the door.

Also Happy for Alok. If he continues to produce with the team-a, then there will be less complain from the fans next time he is selected in the national team.

Nafis Iqbal is a concern. When was the last time he scored some run?
Too bad... I was really high on him when he first came in the national team.

Nazmus Sadat is the man to watch. He is showing some consistanecy. He also palyed very well on the NCL. I hope he does not get thrust into the senior team too soon.

Nazmus Sadat could be a one day specialist some day. Although nothing should be said on this now as it would be too early.

Mehrab should also be a good one day bowler with his off spin. His batting is superb both for one day and tests. Saquib and Mehrab were the two players to watch, I believed. Hopefully Saquib will show his mettle in this tour inshAllah. However, I'd like to hope Tushar would use Mehrab for bowling as well (although his bowling would suit one dayers with off spin). This guy did good in Australia with his bowling as well. Who knows Tushar might use both Mehrab and himself as occassional spinners in the one dayers to come. Good luck.

No matter what you guys say.... I am always happy with ANY of our players who scores a 100 in A-team match... whether it is Kapali or Tushar or Hannan or anyone!

IMO... the positives of such knocks from players we dislike are:

1) It surely helps to increase the pool of available BD players.
2) A good number of backup players is always useful.
3) It will also increase competition between the national team candidates which is bound to effect their commitment in the long run when they are in the National side.
4) A strong A-team surely helps to improve the country's cricketing image.

Instead of the A team I wish we could send the entire under 19 team of last year as the A team. The competition is not that strong. Only good thing these boys are getting at, is the experience of traveling (Food habits in foreign nation, weather, hostile fans environment lol). If my wish was true, these under 19 boys could give our national team and the A team run for their money in 3 match series.

Good on Zimbabwe A for getting past 250. If they could get to 300 - 320 (although unlikely with only 2 wickets in hand), I think we would be in for a good finish.

At the moment I think they are a good 50 runs short of "having a chance". Not sure who is the not out batsmen, but if Matsikinyeri or Mufambisi is still out there, who knows what will happen tomorrow.

From the TigerCricket scorecard it appears that both Matsikenyeri (61) and Mufambisi (44) are out.

Zimbabwe A team are playing much better than the expectation by their coach Andy Pycroft. He told that he is not worried about losing the first `Test' against Bangladesh, and warned that he expects more of the same when the two sides meet again today.
Pycroft unconcerned with defeats
