Why can't we play the spinners better?

We supposed to be weak against seamers. However, openers plyed the seamers well today. Nevertheless, we can also make an argument that we do not have enough quality seamers and bouncy pitches to practice on. But what is confusing is that we regularly fail against good spinners. Is it just that Vittori has figured out our batsmen as well as our bowlers? It seems that he owns us in both departments. Without his performances we could have been respectable in the first ODI.
