Why not Play Rajib
As I saw in whole Natwest series Bangladesh although significantly playing well, but bowling is just horiible except Mashrafi. As I saw how Tapash struggled and Nazmul got beat up and trying horribly to give yorker. So my concern is why not try with Rajib....since everybody got chance to play.
Again what happend to BDlive!!

shahadat is sent back by our all intelligent selectors. he may have got hit, but any one who has seen the test knows he is better bowler than nazmul/taposh (or chacha:P)

Shadat is a wayward bowler !!! He needs much more time to be a compact bowler. :dow
How many yougstars you want to be in this team????
We have a bunch of young cricketers! Its was very nice idea to send him back to Bangladesh!!

he went for 108 runs in 12 overs. But the captain didn't change the field settings to protect him. For a pull shot, when they should get 2 runs max, they were getting 4. He was bowling short so they were pulling and hooking but the field settings needed to protect the boundaries.
He is the most attacking bowler bangladesh has ever seen except mashrafe.
He is our harmison. You will need to back pace ... see the difference Lee made to poor Australia. Only 92 miles per hour and javed was plumb LBW to a straight ball. What would have happened if Lees was bowling at 158 km/h against us.
Rajib will bowl 140 km/h in the ODIs. As a first change bowler he would be ideal with Shafaq Al Jabir opening.

Shafaq isn't included in England bound A team which is a genuine cause of concern. He is a taller left handed version of Nazmul in terms of pace and accuracy. Hence I guess would be more suitable for ODIs.

I think he deserves a chance...even if he balls like what he did in the tests.
any way, our bowlers are getting economy rates of 9 an over...so wutz the problem in letting him play?

i agree with wasim admirer, he is tall and aggressive and have a bit of pace. vaughan and co are quality batsmen, they expose the raw agression of a youngster quite well. but i liked his agressive attitude, he doesnt hold back. bd needs to groom youngsters like him.
i think it was a mistake not to play shahadat in one dayers. he would not have bowl worse than taposh or naz. his raw pace and bounce may have induced some false strokes from the opening batsmen. at present these batsmen aregetting 8-10 runs/over off our pacers without taking any risk at all.
