Default BD v Zim - First Test - Day 2

Is the match starting a half hour early today to make up for lost time?

Rafique was bowled for a cople of overs or more at the start of the day.

Now the new ball is taken, so Rafique will come when the new ball gets a little old.

And I think Rana will be bowled like a part timer; or, to say more accurately, Rana is in the team as the number six batsman. So batting is his main job in this test for the moment.

I've been watching Mushfique, although I am his fan, I've been watching that he has not been bowling too well in this test match. I hope that he bats better to justify his position in the test team.

Ervine just hit his career best.

I wonder how many of our batsman will hit their career best in this test match.

Ervine's previous best was 53 vs Australia and 2nd best previous was against England (34).

By the way, Taibu also hit another fifty. Whch makes the Zimbabwe batting card look like 4 fifties by 4 batsman SO FAR, and one duck by Trevor Gripper.

Rajin Saleh should be given to bowl couple of overs. ( Since Ervine is a left-handed batsman)

The Zim total is heading towards 400-run-mark.

I have a question. If we can't bowl Zimbabwe out for below 400, tahole aar amader unnoti holo kotha?

What is the value of experience of playing in all those test matches over the last couple of years; since the last time that we bowled them out for 450, it was during the year 2001, and now it is the year 2004.

Default We have two bolwers in Tapash and Rafiq

and a potential bowler in Rana. Can't expect much better I don't think. For the next Test I hope BD will have the sense not to play both Mushfiq and Monju in the same team and realize that we need wicket-takers.

I hope Shumon will bring Rajin Saleh for few overs. I bet Rajin will get the wicket of Ervine.
