ABDUR RAZZAK should be now the captain

he is 25 and a regular in ODI and also with rafiq's retirement he now should get a prolonged run in the TEST side.

now no other player is +25 in the squad and i think to anbody who is under 25 it will be burden like ashraful is now feeling it.

now there are very players at that age currently playing cricket and deserve to play in national team.

and also it would be too quick to give the captaincy to nafees or sakib as they are too young like ashraful and could be a burden.

so i think Razzak should be the choice.

also another option could be bring back PILOT as captain.

but of course some bashar & ash fans wont agree

but they should realize that their rediculous experiment as selectors didnt work for last 8 years

bashar, ash, SN were never stars for BD - they are all 'andagunda stars'
time to reshuffle heavily

I have to admit that our choice of captain was wrong. Captain should be someone who is performing, who can lead from the front. We need a performing captain, age should not matter. Looking at our team, we just don't have a performing player, Shakib comes close. Don't know if Razzak has any leading skills.

Why only change the captain? Why not the team? If the BCB XI can score 240 I think they have a legit claim to be the real 11. Pathetic team total average in this series. 160+ yikes!!

Aftab and Ashraful are both inconsistent. Somewhat made from similar dyes. However, I don't think we have much choice unless some consistent performer comes in.

We cannot afford to change captains for a team like OURS so often.. What do you think making Razzak captain will win us matches against all the big teams? We had the same thing in mind before Ashraful was capped captain.. we were so impressed with his part time captaincy against India..that we were literally kickin out Bashar!.. Why whine now? Come on! Be sensible.. Give the kid atleast an year Chance.. He atleast deserves that.

i never supported Ash became capt - i knew the accident was waiting to happen by this kid
stupidity of the selectors as usual
however i still believe he can be a good batsman as 1st down!

Razzak showed us what he can do in the tests, in batting
do we have any quation of his bowling ability?
we ruined rafiq in the same way by bring up some crap kids, do not forget that
so stop those silly experiments which goes on forever

Actually yes.. i do have doubts about Razzak on tests..but he should be given chances to play more tests.. but that doesnt makes him perfect for the captain spot.. I mean think about it for sometime.. He is not ready to be the captain.. not now.. why put pressure on him and ruin his good form with bat and ball ? Making Razzak the captain will be a COWARDLY move not a BOLD move to aim 2011 wc.. and if you want the silly experiments to stop..why are you arguing for one? making Razzak the captain?
WE CANNOT afford to change captain at this moment. Not for me..and im sure not for 1000s of other members here.

Our team is so bad that we can't find a single player who is a permanent fixture in both ODI and test matches and actually somewhat consistent. How sad!!!

You guys are "khamakha" blaming Ash. He is leading the team from the front in every occassion. Believe me he shows in every match how to throw away a wicket and everybody follows that.
