Omio bhai, I'm sorry to hear your unfortunate situation. I think it's best if you keep a container of water stored as backup. Since you live as a tenant on your own, it's best to be prepared.

Is this for real !!!!!! I had no idea you had water supply problems in the UK? Man then we should not complain about the water supply in Bangaldesh if a developed country like UK has issues with that. I have a hard time believing it because this is the first time I heard about something like this although I have many friends who live there. It must be terrible and I know how you feel because I went through the same problems in BD but the difference is in BD we could always call WASA and they would come with their water truck to fill in our tanks.

Water supply problems don't happen around here. May be on council properties, I'm assuming Omio rents a council flat and landlord didn't pay the bills. I remember all the frequent loads hading and water shortage in BD. Those were the days..

Omio, this is what happens why you dont pay your utitility bills on time.
Next time, make sure water bills goes on time....

on a serious note, faced lotta problems, but never water problem here..
we might have a water restrictions due to record drought on the outback..
but that mostly involoves hosing your garden and car washing...
never had no problem with tap water at least...

I always go to 7-11 in odd times like 2 Am/ 3 AM.... anytime to buy almost anything....from soda to milk to Salt to snacks.... almost anything. Even Bangladesh has Mudir dokan which is open beyond 12 Mid night.
