In other words: Regardless of whatever you're posting today or tomorrow, if it's between 10:11 am (Mahmood bhai's first notification) till whatever time Mahmood bhai gives the second notification, all the posts that we make will be lost.

So, no matter what we are posting now (including this post) will be gone tomorrow. Just so that we're not surprised. Hold on to those important posts until tomm I guess

UPDATE: We have successfully moved Banglacricket to the new server. All seems ok now. This should solve the server down problem at match time. Enjoy

Once again, great job by our tech gurus.

A reminder to those who perform FREQUENT REFRESH (FR) during game time, what I have gathered is that the FR puts a lot of stress on the servers. There was nothing wrong with the server we had before but the amount of FR strained the resources. In any case, the new server should be able to handle those situations. A BETTER option for anyone would be to visit the CHAT room during game time as the scores and the conversation happen in REALTIME. This will ensure that the forum stays up and running even during an Aftab/Ashraful onslaught. - which I hope will be a regular scene during the world cup.
