Nazmul Hossain is one of the best bowler of BD and a huge respect from one of his biggest fan for all his hard work...I hope the selectors/management appreciate Nazmul's performance..

Definitely my MOM. His early breakthrough consolidated our confidence.

বাংলাদেশের ক্রিকেট কর্তারাও কী আশরাফুল-নাজমুলের মতো প্রতিভাদের মেরে ফেলছেন!
The article sounded god until I saw Ashraful in the last line.
Nazmul is indeed a superb baller and he should be premanently in the ODI XI. Mash + Nazmul + Rubel/Shafiul in ODIs. Rubel and Shafiul can fight it among themselves for a place. And, Shahadat can be left in the Test squad. I don't think Mash and Nazmul should play in Tests.. they are pacers and every pacer is injury-prone.
So, I sign this petition to permanently have Nazmul in ODIs.

why would he get ignored all the time? maybe his inclusion hurts the team balance, which is why he gets ignored.

Dear Selectors,
Do you hate Nazmul Hossain or are you too drunk? Left out yet again and Abul in, Nazmul has not played a single non warmup match since Asia cup. Mind boggling stuff

its not only about selectors, coaches also have a big role. But what suprises me is that no coach thinks that he is a strike bowler

Nazmul is the best pacer in the country, even better than Mash and Abul. Abul shouldn't even be in the B team.

Just checked the score. Only bowled 1 over! Cmon! Really! After warming the bench since SA-ZIm series, he finally gets a game to bowl 6 damn ball!! Why the mistreatments, I do not get!!
11 runs from one over is not rare. Stop acting like a lil biotch Rahim.

Some how people likes all slow medium pacers more than genuine pacers... How would we even produce pacers?? Mahmud, Rasel and Now Nazmul... Real pacers get nothing for their hard work...
it would serve us a better purpose in future if we could nurture the genuine pacers... But then we need to be a bit more tolerant with them...

Nazmul = Chacha+
Sorry for repeating the same thing. But to me, this is what it is. Mushy did a great thing by not letting Naz apa bowl another over today. That could have been the difference between a tight win (happened) and a narrow loss (could have been)

CI reports Farhad Reza named in Bangladesh squad for World T20.
Nazmul went wicketless in the two games he played during Bangladesh's tour of Europe last month. Abul Hasan, who also didn't pick a wicket in Ireland and the Netherlands, was preferred due to his extra pace. These selectors probably never heard of people like Richard Hadlee, Kapil Dev, or McGrath.

i think we all like genuine pace prospects, problem is there aren't the proper pace bowling development programs in BD cricket so they don't develop properly, on top of that they're rushed in at a young age. we will see about abul though, rushing rubel worked, however he already had a number of weapons to his arsenal like the slingy action which makes it tougher for batsmen to pick up on his release of the ball and things like reverse swing to go with his pace. i'm not sure abul has any weapons yet outside of his pace.....
can't deny nazmul has been one of our best ODI pacers of the last couple of years, his stats show he's one of the best we have, problem with medium pacers is that unless they're really crafty and canny then they can get hit because they just aren't fast enough.
both can be effective, but genuine pace doesn't work without control and other weapons just like medium pace doesn't work without immaculate line, length, accuracy and variation.
but really when it comes down to it a genuine pacer has more potential to be effective, but BD needs places within the country to teach them how to bowl properly so they can be effective at the highest level.
