I believe in their last encounter Afghanistan beat West Indies in the ICC T20 world cup last year. We were bowled out for 98

That's a commanding win.
We won by 6 wickets with lots of bald remaining.
Rashid Khan was the best batsman for Afghanistan with 33.

Well done on the win, WI.
They shouldn't be angry. Not being in the CT is none's fault except WI team. It just didn't happen. This was designed to keep BD out of the major tournament. The elite keeps the money and the rings. Unfortunately BD crushed the party.

^^ well said T_E bhai, we (West Indians) must face the reality. It was our board's own undoing. Player contract disputes and selection drama, all contributed to our decline in the rankings.
But, we are very resilient people. We always know how to make the best out of the little things.
Only last year we did something that was unprecedented in the cricket world and history.
The senior players will have to take the youngster under their wings, show them the ropes.
We do have a lot of talent.
We will be back, and strong as ever.
Rally, rally round the West Indies. Now and forever!

We will be back, don't worry.
It's just that the hunger for success needs to be evident in our players.

Roston Chase earns maiden ODI call-up.
Good news, let the guy earn some experience in the shorter format. I believe Skipper Holder may have played a part in his selection.

Really wanted ronsford to get his international debut, was a prospect from u19 days and has been improving over the last couple of years.
What's the deal with Taylor getting back in so soon? Announces his return, and is back in almost immediately.

Taylor knew he wasn't finished. There is always an opportunity for pacers./

Afghanistan beats the West Indies by 63 runs. Rashid Khan takes 7/18. Fourth best in ODI history. Take a bow. This went relatively unnoticed because of the Champions trophy.

WI board is even worse than the Zimbos, at least Zimbos got the excuse of political turmoils and race issues, what is the problem with Windies board? They have a legacy that can be rivaled only by Aus, already got a decent infra, has talents as well, can't they just put their personal differences aside for the sake of cricket? It is so bloody painful to see Windies on its way to become the new Keniya, they would have easily qualified for the CT had they shown faith with the team that won them the 2016 T20 WC.
Sorry for the rant btw.

I would really love to see Bangladesh tour the Caribbean soon for a full series. Great place to play Cricket. 2 tests, 5 ODIs & 1 T20.

If that happens you might see a completely different group of players, they change players more frequently than changing clothes.
