our opening pair is in danger.
we tried junaed, shamsur, mithun ali----nothing worked. can we try rokibul hasan. he is little slow but a perfect batsman. may be he can hold one side and tamim can hit from other end

if that happened, next match line up should be

tamim
rokibul
ashraful
sakib
mahmudullah
mushfiq
junaed
mashrafe
nayeem
rasel/shahadat
rubel

what do u think?

this 3 allrounder
sakib
mahmudullah
nayeem

make our team selector's job much easier. 20/20 needs allrounder, because of this 3 we can choose extra batsman or extra bowler. i am so proud of this trio.
+- mashrafe---also can be in this group

Good news people, in that same website which cricman and Pubasha T quoted that Sky sports will be broadcatsing the match vs Austrailia. I also checked the following days tv listings of the channel for Tuesday the 2nd. They will also be broadcasting our beloved tigers against the Sri lankans at 1 pm Sky Sports 1. I suppose the plus side to playing stronger oppositions is that Sky sports actually televise our boys matches in contrast to matches such as Bangladesh vs Scotland.

shamsur opened like once, batted only about twice and i don't think mithun has batted at all (not including the matches against BD A). imo team management should have tried shamsur and mithun fully in the first few matches because if they had done that then, then by now we would have known what they could have added to the team so we'd have more of an idea of who should be in the starting xi could have given the starting xi some practice matches as a team. since that didn't happen i'm still hoping they try shamsur and mithun a bit more than they have been.

last t20 WC when i first saw riyad i thought he'd turnout a decent international player (hope that still comes true, at this point it looks like it might), naeem i've always picked as someone who might be a good addition to the team and so far i think he has been, and nothing needs to be said about shakib.

I have a feeling that we are up for another thrashing from the Aussies.

Aus in big trouble this time, no Tait, Gilly, Hayden, McGrath... we've nothing to worry about... our target should be Johnson, Lee, Watson as usual and play watchfully to Bracken and Hilfenhaus.. if we get the wicket of David Hussey and Symond quickly they will give up..

This Aussie team is completely teethless in comparison with their team two years back in WC 2007. All we have to do is to keep our nerves strong.

i also think they deserve a chance to bat upper order. it seems like Mithun ali totally forget how to bat. since he earned up a call in the national team, he didnt make more than 1 run in any match. he played some matches against maharashrata team of india as an opener and in PCL 20/20 league in chittagong.in one bangladesh newspaper gave him title mr 1 run. I hope he will show his true color soon.

tomorrows match they wont play shamsur, mithun, rajib and razzaq according to bangla newspaper 'somokal"

even these toothless kangaros might turn out to be well enough to eat up the tigers. U can't ignore the likes of lee, johnson, watson, warner, marsh...... Though i sincerely believe that i'm proven wrong and our tigers excel.
