Problem Viewing sopcast through third party link on Vista
Operating system Vista
Windows Media Player 11.
Trying to watch Cricket as a sopcast client via acricket.com
Nothing happens. The box where the sopcast should come up remains black with an 'x' mark on the top left hand corner. Is Vista security system blocking?
I can watch sopcast from their website though. So sopcast works on Vista.
Neep help!!
Did anyone watch cricket on vista via sopcast through third party website?

It could just be a minor error in the sopcast link. Third party as in, someone else has posted the link, right?
Try to go to sopcast.org, where they (once upon a time, not sure if they still do) post all the major sopcast links. You should be able to find the link there.

did you enable the active x? im guessing that might be the problem. you can enable it by clicking on the yellow header that will pop up when you go to acricket.com. it will ask whether or not you wanna enable it. then the vista firewall will ask you whether to allow it, and you click yes again.

I watched matches of last BD v NZ series from acricket.com. There was no problem but I'm not sure whether I've ever tried any third party website.
