Default ZIM series broadcast issue...

sorry if this is a repeat thread...but can anyone confirm if any network is carring this series.

couple of times there was absolutely zero coverage of cricket inside zim, hopefully the political situation has improved there.

zimfan, can you confirm if there will be a telecast at least within zimbabwe of this series??

Should be on Ten Sports. Looks like SuperSport won't be covering it though.

Ten sports will cover it, as they have exclusive rights to Zim's home series.

Hey guys there is some doubt about the TV coverage of the series as nothing has been confirmed as of yet but Ten Sports have the rights to the series and the ICC stipulate that a ODI series between two full member countrys have to be covered by TV

I'm glad this thread has been opened. I will be in Bangladesh(again) from next month so I was wondering where I will be able to watch the matches of this series. When I was in Bangladesh a couple of weeks ago I saw an ad on Ten Sports which announced that they officially carry the broadcasting rights of five Test teams including Zimbabwe's however there was another ad which informed the viewers of which series' would be shown in their channel throughout the summer and Bangladesh in Zimbabwe was NOT in the list. Obviously the major obstacle for them would be that the timing of the matches in this series would collide with Sri Lanka vs Pakistan. Is there a possibility that one of the local channels may broadcast the series? I remember Channel I showed Bangladesh's tour of Kenya in 2006. It wasn't the best quality but it was still ok. I really hope at least we in Bangladesh are able to watch the series.

Is Zim a full member of ICC? coz I was thinking they might not be as they're not granted Test status as of yet.

This current BD-WI series I'm watching it through willow - Ten Sports Telecast.
Hopefully willow will broadcast Zim series too as Ten Sports will telecast it.
Grameen Phone (Bangladesh) will be the title sponsor of this Zim series - something new that BD company is sponsoring away series!!
