Default Whose our 5th bowler?

I think it's aftab but he's been our 4th best bowler and it seems that tapash cant bowl these r the four i have.

The obvious choice would be rana but i wont use 2 spinners unless there is no chance of failure like rafique vs aus we had them 3 wickets down and they couldn't attack rafique.

The three possibilities that come to me are Anwar, rajin and rana.

I wish we still has shahadat!

I guess it's up to the selectors.

Mashrafe
Nazmul
Rafique
Aftab

I think aftab stays ahead of nazmul. even though he is not opening he is doing better than nazmul in terms of controlling runs. he is actually turning out to be a class allrounder. i wish he can keep it up.

but the fifth bowler has to be rana. we do not want chacha once again in the team and don't want taposh in this series.

so no anwar?

i still think were gonna see Rajin in for Tushar and most of you guys think Rana in for Taposh.

so our bowling will look like this

Mashrafe and Nazmul open (1-10)
Aftab and rana for the middle overs(12-25)
rafique and a partime bowler in the (25-40)
Mashrafe and nazmul close it out(40-50)

Ideally Aftab should be our 6th bowler. To compensate our batting problems we are basically diverting our problem to the bowling side. And thus handicaping the Captain with less choice. And when a bowler start giving too much runs, there is very few choices and there is less chance to stop the floodgate of runs.

if mashrafi and nazmul opens, u know who is going to get hit, dont u? why not open with rana and bring naz first change.

my bowling options would be

mashrafi and rana 1-10
nazmul and aftab 11-20
rafiq and rana 21-30
rafiq and aftab 31-40
nazmul and mash 41-50

i am sure mash rana strategy will succeed against england , but against aus it may backfire. as hayden and gilchrist can sweep him into stands. however they usually do it when they are set. and that is the trick, bd has to force them to take risks. the question is does bashar have the guts or idea to play this?
