Default What Would Be The Excuse Today?

Mushy: "The nature of the weather changed today. The due was heavy during the evening and it reduced slowly as night progressed. That's why our fielders had difficulty in grabbing the ball while fielding and catches dropped. Spinners could not spin the ball. Later on due factor reduced and as a result WI fielded brilliantly and their spinners could turn the ball a lot."

Mushy: "Well definitely obviously definitely we could have done better but the Shakib and Tamim likes eating cake so they got out just in time because there were still couple of pieces left in the dressing room probably definitely obviously next game will come with a good plan probably."

We are actually getting better. 58 -- 78 -- 98 . Next time it'll be 118. As you can see we are improving. Boys are really working hard to achieve these magic numbers.

Yes, our pace bowling looked really good today. I am being serious here.

Al-Amin, Zia and Mash did their job. Spinners were not used properly hence they got smacked

To be honest, our bowling was pretty good today. And I can sort of understand the collapse while chasing such a big total against this difficult bowling attack. But the fielding was atrocious. I have never seen such a poor effort in the field -- even from Bangladesh.

That's exactly why I said, him along with the team should have celebrated after the game knowing how crap they played in the previous HK game. This is coming due to our frustration but if the players don't hold themselves accountable for keeping a high standard then all hope is lost.

We managed to field so poorly while the worst fielder in the team, Razzak, was not even playing. Where do we hide ?

Should have used more spin regardless of Gayle. Zia should have come up earlier. Whatever the case, can't expect bowlers to do much when all other departments completely fail

considering BDWMN have not played their first match yet, it is too late to switch this team to that world cup? We might have a shot at the semi finals at least with this team vs. the women and the women would probably be less embarassing on this side.

"Gayle put us off - he wanted to give us false sense of complacency - we were bamboozled - unsportsmanlike attitude for Gayle! "

Facing the likes of Badree/Santokie for the first time.

The captaincy has been horrendous -- what with bowling Gazis four overs at a row and not managing the resources in a manner where your best bowler doesn't bowl his quota of overs.

Also when it comes to part time bowling, so far in the international scene -- Mominul > Sabbir.

Poor way to use Zia. He can cement his place in the team, I feel, but just not given the opportunity. Also I don't go with the theory of leaving Zia at the end to slog. Send him top of the order and let him hit the ball around like a pinch hitter. Also, Shamsur ahead of Tamim definitely.

WI is thus far the weakest batting side in Group A; our batting sucks..... Nepal would have done a better job today

Good point.
I mentioned it in our game thread, the WMN team would have done much better.
