Default Grameenphone Advertisement starring Shakib.
Just few days ago, while coming from school, I just observed an advertisement starring Shakib showing that he is talking in a cell phone.

This is how fast fame can make a person famous. Really loved it.

brilliant. i am glad to hear it... its these kinds of things that should keep shakib going - all the perks of being the top allrounder and the a big match winnder for Bd

Saw that advrtsmt on the day of Ipl Auct.
Grameen phone makes good ads but I think they didn't highlight Sakib that much.
Because the other 2 models are unknown to every1 whereas Sakib is known worldwide.
Remember those ads of Mash,Shahdt of pacer hunt.

ya. shakib being biggest celeb in bd and a pretty big one in intl. cricket, he should get some more publicity

he doesn't even have any dialogue in that ad...they could have done much better
but no body can beat the ashraful king fisher ad, ar habibul bashar er dudh er ad

Ah, the Kingfisher ad is a personal favorite. "কিন্তু তিনি কি সেসব তেল খান? না আআআআ - তিনি খান কিংফিসার তেল" or something along those lines.

I saw that add... and yer I was kinda shocked to see Shakib in an add. But my must say, that add is the most stupidest Grammenphone add I've seen. No one talks... they just smile and they don't even talk on the phone. They just hold the phone to their ear and smile :S

Well I saw it in many places in Chittagong. They are HUGE posters and very attractive lol.

Maybe because this is a short time Grmnphone offer.
I think they have shown SAkib more than we have seen him all his career.(in matchs)

they are not sure how long sakib will remain great...looking at past Bd players...so they are using the ads as much as possible.

It's the first one on the list (Grameenphone matro 49 poysha/Min). You do need to have an account with Boishakh to watch the video. I recommend you to open an account anyway as it is a great site with a huge database of BD entertainment (including HQ natoks, ads, music videos etc.), news and discussion.

I gotta admit it is a pretty lame ad. You would expect better from GP. Why would you get the country's best cricketer and have him on screen for only 5 seconds and have him not speak at all.
