Who is better for 20/20 - Alok Kapali or Sakib?

you are really a pagol. Alok is bully of 3rd class bowler (See his performance against quality bowling attack; he even failed against Lahore Badsha) and Shakib lock horns with the best.
If you specify more it would have been more helpful against 3rd class and below level bowler Alok is better because Shakib has no motivation to play them; against 2nd class bowler Shakib is marginally better as he is not motivated enough and against top class bowler there is no match as Alok wet his pant thinking of facing them

If i am looking for a part-time bowler and a brutal hitter, it will be Alok. wait, its 20-20, so if i am not loooking fora specialist bowler, then mostly that's what i am gonna be looking at.

You guys are right. Performance-wise, Shakib beats any and all BD players by some margin. But then, perception and performance are two different things really. If performance was a critera, Ashraful would be pulling a rickshaw somewhere in my hometown of Pabna instead of captaining the BD side and and number of insignificant cricketers who died into oblivion would trump Ashraful. What holds him in good stead is the perception of his abilities.

If you wanna look at stats, compare alok's and sakibs 20/20 stats, Sakib is the number 1 allrounder in odi's ,his 20/20 record is dismal whereas with alok's 20/20 resume,you''d have to be crazy not to take him in your team.

Batting definitely ALOK, bowling SHAKIB !! so I'll pick both for 20/20 for their strong side at both area plus both are good fielder.

They are two different players with completely varying roles for the team. In T20s I would play Alok as a #4 batsman and give him two overs to bowl. While I would let Shakib finish his quota and bat him at 6 or later.

dude...sakib is a class player not a slam0bam0wham 20-20 player...i never saw him latch into a 20-20mode...yes he can usher in a scurry n flurry of runs but he is not afridi...

whereas kapali is a beast.

Kapali hands down.

give me a break guys - you are comparing alok, who plays with a bunch of rejects in the iCL and who occasionally performs on the world stage, against the top all-rounder in the world who has played and scared the **** of out the some of the top players in the world...
put shakib in the ICL (God forbid) and he would rip those batsmen and bowlers apart...

there rlly is no comparison here

sakib is a class player.He is a perfect player for 20-20, but he still doesn't show his best performance in 20-20...where alok shows what he is capable of in 20-20

To be honest, I would want both of them in my Team. So as djnaved has said, they are incomparable. And one day I know both will lead our team to victory. And I am hoping that day will be on this summer.
