He played well before also...I trust him. He is a very young guy and I think we should support him in forming the core of our pace attack...Mash, Shafi, Rubel, Shahadat.... Are proven performers in different formats...

Shafiul is not consistent enough but I will go ahead and call him a match winner. Won us two ODIs against England, once bowling the last over and of course who will ever forget that world cup match. Was brilliant today. May he go from strength to strength.

Great to see him back in full flow. I'm sure coach Ian was a proud man while watching his bowling. He had a rough comeback but it was expected because of his injury but he's come back strong today.

Our fast bowlers are fine in ODIs but its in tests where our fast bowlers struggle at. Our fast bowlers in ODIs have good records i.e. Mashrafe averaging 30 with the ball, Nazmul 31, Rubel 32 and Shafiul 33.

Bowled surprisingly well today. Why doesn't he do this more often? Seems like a lazy bowler who doesn't practice or work hard enough. He could be an asset for Bangladesh if he's willing to put the hard yards in.

Grow some meat on those bones for God's sake. Everytime he runs in to bowl I get nervous thinking he will break into pieces.
Anyway, he bowled well. Came back strongly after taking some beating in the first over, similar to the match we won against England.

He bowled well. By his usually erratic standards, exceedingly well. I'd like to seem him sustain this form.

Great performance today no doubt and possibly what made us stay in the game from the get go. But as soon we start to dream big the same player shatters it in the next, if not the immediate next, match.
Consistency is the name of the game and we desperately need that from him....from any of our pace bowlers to successful in all conditions.
