A Normal day in MY LIFE when BD has a game...
Lets assume that I'm watching a match against NZ which will start at 6:00pm.
12:00 pm: Reading the posts in Banglacricket match thread, and going through some stats in cricinfo.
1:00 am: Reading a book. (Staying up late, so that I can kill some time in the morning sleeping.)
2:00 am: Watching some videos unrelated to cricket.
3:00 am: Sleep.
4:00 am: Sleep.
5:00 am: Sleep.
6:00 am: Sleep.
7:00 am: Sleep.
8:00 am: Sleep.
9:00 am: Wake up to call by a friend who's also a cricket fan. He projects his score for the match and explains why we will win.
10:00 am: At BanglaCricket, reading the latest news and going through the match thread. Looking for some quality posts praising Mushfiq (my fav player).
11:00 am: Meeting my friend at a Starbucks on Manhattan and having coffee as we discuss the reasons that Bangladesh are still such an inconsistent team. We talk about the past greats of cricket and innings that Bangla players have played.
12:00 am: We make plans to play cricket sometime soon ( we rarely do).
1:00 pm: In my rooms in Banglacricket again. I go through facebook and turn on my other messengers. Getting ready for the game.
2:00 pm: Play international cricket captain, in which Bangladesh always wins!
3:00 pm: Tell my friend how I've beat new zealand by 100 or more runs in international cricket captain.
4:00 pm: Come back to Banglacricket. Time doesn't go. So I go through all the threads. Go to stickcricket.
5:00 pm: Look at the starting lineup and see whats happening. Refresh Banglacricket and cricinfo every two minutes. Look for links. Go through all the links I have bookmarked. Find out that Bangladesh will be batting.
6:00 pm: Game starts. Watch the game with my older brother, who says that someone in BD will get out in every ball.
7:00 pm: Bd 3 down for 60 runs. I'm still hopeful that the batsman will be able to make something out of it.
8:00 pm: Bd 6 down for 100 runs. My brother laughs at the team. My friend calls and curses out the BD team. I yell at them about how they will never grow up.
9:00 pm: Bangladesh all out for 170. I blame the batsman for this and promise to never watch a match again. Go outside for a smoke.
10:00 pm: Go to cricinfo and see the score, see that its 70/1 in 12 overs. I turn off the TV.
11:00 pm: I read Banglacricket comment and blame someone for this slaughter.
12:00 pm: Go to sleep unhappy.
--------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully this doesn't happen tomorrow. I'd like to go to sleep happy and be the one laughing instead my brother.
How do you spend your match day?

WOW! if i had a scduel like yours i would get some school works done properly XD ...
Back to your question ... the way i warm up (if i can watch the match is)
Search for a link for hours and beg people at banglacricket to get one and then on to watching. The moment Ashraful goes out and right after when Shakib follows, I simply turn of the link and go sleep (depending on what time of the day). Why waste sleep to watch a crapy performance!

Sometimes I try to pretend there is no mtch today so that I ca spend the day easily.
Usually I keep visiting BC & read news paper( Sports section).
Find it very difficult to concentrate on anything else.
Imagine how well our btsmen gonna bat(often optimistic) but when the match goes on our bttng looks no where near my imagination.

Its not nadim98 is it :P
Universal fans we are. Lucky you are single, you have no idea how difficult it is to follow a match when you are not and also have a little baby. I need to explain why, who, how and when I will be doing it. Not to mention all those sleepless nights duing BD matches watching most of the first innings and waking up to find out how we got thrashed by the oppositions and how our beloved king Ashraful once again let us down.

I'll spin this slightly - do you (like me) often imagine what our players are doing in preparation for a match or when in the middle of a test match. After day 3 of test 2 against India, was Shahadat in the nets practing his batting? Did the players get a good night's sleep when they were in such a good position (I didn't)? Who shares rooms with whom when on tour? How do they pass the time? Do they study cricket like fans or do they just switch off??

I'm a certified insane but your post still makes no sense.
But in another topic, are you stalking tonoy? That's so lame, there's thousands of better people you can stalk.

That was one satisfied customer though. You know what they say, once you go curry, you won't be back in a hurry.

Well, there's the special ones I care about, and then the ones I don't care about as much. If I do care, I'd wake up pretty early, and in all the excitement will have pet kharap. Then I'd quickly eat breakfast, go to the office and look at Banglacricket and Prothom Alo for an undisclosed amount of time till the match starts. Every time the boss looks over, I click the mouse, sometimes revealing instead of hiding my extracurriculars. Go visit the bathroom a couple more times, then open the Cricinfo commentary page at the right moment. Then for the last hour of work, keep thinking whether I should leave right then and make up for it later.
Once I get home, I'd have a quick shower, eat on the laptop, and if its going good, realise its bathroom time again. If its going bad, I watch anything on tv, possibly some bogan news-piece called Today-tonight for a bit. I'd turn the laptop off in disappointment, but then am forced to turn it back on. If I'm unlucky this is at 1am, and I'm fooled by the team till 2:30 that we can do it. Finally, when its 40 to get off 100 balls with 6 wickets remaining I decide to sleep.
The next morning, I read the post-mortems on Prothom-Alo and keep wondering why everyone's complaining about Ash's latest failure on this site.

I'm sure he'll pray at his date's house, won't you Nadim? Just say "Clarisse, could I say my prayers in your bedroom?" Always gets you in...
