When other better known newspapers and media sources are silent, it is hard to tell if the news is informative or purely speculative. I believe it is the later one. BCB already informed Dav that they want him till 2007 World Cup.

I seriously doubt Whatmore will leave just when all his hard work began to pay off.

He will stay with BD a long time, inshallah.

John the indian coach, bogus news. When all bd media is quiet, how the hell the indian newspaper gets the info to publish the news. They just made it up.

Well... Pakistan wanted to hire him before they hired Woolmer. India is looking for a coach. Even though we got use to him,,, Watmore is a celebrity coach. And turning around the Bangladesh team, which is happening against all odds the sports journalists are creating, almost makes him the most sought after coach in recent times..

Whatmore himself said recently that he would stay on 'til the 2007 WC if BCB keeps him there.
