seriously? how could you not consider this before taking the job? Or is there something else other than the family reason?? This might hurt our recent progress. hope BCB will be able to find a proper replacement without wasting much time.

Something may have happened in his personal life. Those with teen-agers may understand.
So, don't blame the guy for putting family first.

That is always the way it should be - Family First.

Yep, there is no complaint if he is leaving for family reason. But I find it hard to believe everything I hear during this ‘Loitta Era’. Anything bad happens to our cricket now a days bring a fear in my mind that 'Loitta+Tutul lead crooked BCB' has something to do with it.

We should Respect Stuart Law and his decision. Best of wishes to him whether he chooses to stay with us or leave us.

As far as I remember there was a news that said Stuart Law expressed unwillingness to go to Pak if the tour goes ahead. Is there any link to this decision or is it really family matter?!!

Best of luck law. I just hope that Pakistan tour has nothing to do with it..

i hope so too. hopefully this has nothing to do with BCB forcing him to go. but given the situation we are in ppl are already asking questions along that line...

I really hope this doesn't have anything to do with the Pak tour. If this news is true it will be a huge set back for us.

His decision came just right after the news that Bangladesh would tour Pakistan and as he said earlier he would never go to Pakistan, so, you can't just deny the speculation of something bad between Law and Lotus & Co.

all of a sudden he realized that he needs to spend more time with his family? I mean he knew he will be staying here (or Srilanka) till 2013 at least..

definitely there is a link between this and us touring Pakistan now.

I don't think the national team will go on a slump due to the departure of law. The team quite well progressed by their own merits but of course law had his own contribution as a guide or mentor.
Best wishes for law and family but this sudden decision is a surprise.

Come on guys 3-4 days of tour in Pak can’t be a factor to quit a dream job. These guys are professional. Look how whatmore and jullien is staying in pakistan. I think family is a big factor here. Sometime you have to sacrifice money and fame for the sake of your family.

Everytime a coach left our performance went down at least for few months. Part of it is because of BCB's inability to hire a replacement on time. And we have learned our beloved Loitta loves to Gamble. His gamble on Law luckily worked well but not sure if it will work everytime. May be it's Klusner's turn this time.

So we fans are in some kind of husband wife relationships with our coaches? We can’t tolerate them once they live with us and start missing them when they go to baper bari or threaten to leave us?

Change the title of the thread to English. Its an important enough topic to have the title in English.
