F6_Turbo Bhai, world bank has shown us our true strength & status.... Desher Govt key, Nakey Khot diye chere dise, for just only 1.2 Bn $ loan... You get it where we stand after 40+ years of independence.
You remain bullish basing on things which happens defying govt's road blocks, rather than due to their contribution.

Just think of where we could be if it wasn't for these corrupt politicians/ gov officials. Many BD people living overseas don't want to go back because these scum will always get in the way if you want to do something good.

I always find it amusing how the most outspoken opponents of neo-liberalism and Tea Party-ism in the West are the most vocal supporters of neo-liberalism and weak States back home.

You were only getting around 350Kbps. That's seems very low for 3G. The manager's number seem better.

That's beacause my default package is of 512 kbps. I'll migrate to 1 Mbps from the next month.

Do they have a prepaid package? Or are they all post-paid? Thinking of my next trip to Dhaka (and getting stood up by Turbo again).

Haha...massive chest infection, I actually missed about 9 days of work.
I've now missed out on a chance to catch up with you and Sohel Bhai. It'll happen(so long as the Mayans aren't right)

Thanks Razi. I wonder if SIM price will go down once the auction happens and the private providers come online.

For every new sim registration an operator has to give BDT 800 to BTRC. So they will charge something around that. May be operators will take nominal fee for SIM to USIM up gradation for the existing users. Teletalk is charging BDT 600 for up gradation which IMO is bit too much.
