Yep - but it is difficult - especially I feel for the SSC exams going on now. I remember my SSC exams where we didn't know what would happen as the Government violently changed during the exams.

Its not about losing focus only - it is that you mentally prepare for the most important exam in your life and then it gets pushed back.

Very sad indeed - I hope the government sets up a charity fund for people to donate to.

Exactly my thought!

Copied from FB: LINK

Upbeat about the Shahbagh protesters until the other day, BNP Vice-Chairman Sadeque Hossain Khoka Saturday called for resisting the demonstrators demanding death for all war criminals and collaborators of 1971.

Quote:
Khoka said, “The government executed mass killings across the country in the last few days. They are pushing the country towards conflict. They have brought the situation to this level to create a confrontation between the spirit of the Liberation War and religious belief.”

Read the gruesome plot, plan, preparation leading to the cold-blooded, calculated killing of Rajib.

http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesig...php?nid=271147

Quote:
THE KILLING
After collecting all the necessary information about “Thaba Baba”, the “intelligence group” started a mission to identify him physically on February 9, Monirul Islam said.

Within the next couple of days, the group identified Rajib through his friends.

On February 11, Rumman followed their target from Shahbagh Projonmo Chattar to Mirpur-10 intersection. “Rajib was in a bus and Rumman followed him by a bicycle,” said the police official.

Rumman failed to find out Rajib's house that day. But the next day he succeeded to locate his place at Palashnagar.

“The group later started to collect information from locals regarding his profession, lifestyle, relatives, etc to finalise their killing plan,” said Monirul.

Anik and a couple of others went to Notun Bazar and bought machetes and knives. Anik paid the money, the arrestees said.

On the day of the killing, the group came to know from Rajib's Facebook page that he would not go to Shahbagh that day and rushed hurriedly to Palashnagar by bicycles and bus, said Monirul.

They reached there around 4:00pm, carrying the machetes and knives in schoolbags.

The group started to play cricket in an alley near the blogger's house to monitor his return.

As the sun was going down, Rajib was seen returning home. When he neared the gate of his house, Dwip hit him with a machete in a bid to sever his head from the shoulder, but failed to succeed in doing so.

After two more hits, the victim fell on the wall and Dwip continued to chop him, said Monirul.

Anik joined Dwip this time and started to stab Rajib with a knife.

As Dwip continued stabbing Rajib indiscriminately, he accidentally hit Anik in his big toe.

When the killers were sure about Rajib's death they fled the scene.

Using their Facebook page “Basherkella”, Jamaat-Shibir activists are exchanging instructions about how to spread violence in the country as well as keep track of where their activists were demonstrating and fighting law enforcers.

My question was about today's Jamat. That is, Jamat of 2013. Jamat claims to be an Islamic party. Correct me if I am wrong but To me, an Islamic party should follow all the rules and regulations of Islam, they should deviate themselves from other political parties based on their behavior and their ethics, Right?..Islam forbids violence, killing innocent people, does not support destroying public properties. Islam safeguards freedom for religious minorities.. But today we see that Jamatis are calling hartals, burning cars, killing bus drivers, police officers, derailing trains, attacking Hindus, planting bomb in train and streets. Are all these activities approved by Islam? Or is it just another BAL/Indian propaganda against Touhidi Jonota?

You said "if you call another Muslim a nastiq and its false, then you become that". So true bhai and as a practicing Muslim, we must refrain ourselves from calling others Nastik. But I see Jamatis are labelling Shahbagis as Nastik like there is no tomorrow.
Try to understand the situation here, some of those leading the Shahbag movement are atheist blasphemers who have openly insulted the religion of the majority - I have yet not seen one user on this forum condemn these groups of people except what I have seen is the excuse of let them have the freedom of speech. The scholars are right to declare some of those bloggers as nastiq, but I have not yet heard a scholar say all of those gathering Shahbag are nastiq because that is wrong. In my opinion the people are ignorant of the reality of the situation. Back to the point of the bloggers, it is dangerous for the country to be led by these types of people. Why? If these types of people are leading Shahbag then obviously they have a sinister intent to change Bangladesh's religious character which will have an affect on the people's aqeedah (belief). This will obviously create the religious elite to erupt because what they see from their eyes is an attack on the religion in a massive scale! A group of people insulting the Islamic beliefs then leading an anti-religious movement that is supported by the government. The government not only supports the movement but provides these people with security. What else do you expect them to do?

I don't support violence or destroying property etc. but welcome to Bangladesh this always happens in all sides, Awami League and BNP have done this in the past. Jamaat's leaders are being executed in a political conspiracy under a corrupt government and their religious beliefs are being insulted openly allowed by the government. You expect in a country like Bangladesh people to take this matter lightly? Of course not. A week ago when they tried to demonstrate peacefully in Dhaka they were shot at deliberately by the police. Its impossible for them to hold peaceful demonstrations because the government does not want them to hold demonstrations since it will change the climax of the series of events, they want the whole country focused on Shahbag and not on the Islamic side.

Bangladeshi intellectual, Farhad Mazhar, comments that the two people Sayedee is being accused of killing had no witnesses. The first one was Bisha Bali who was killed in the 1971 war. But his brother, Shukhronjan Bali, refused to give any false statement that Sayedee had killed him. In fact he gave a statement saying Sayedee was not his killer.

Second person Sayedee has been accused of killing is Ibrahim Kutti who also died in the 1971 war. But his wife in 1972 made a list of all her husband's killers and in that list Sayedee's name was not mentioned. She is alive to this day and has been saying many times that Sayedee is not one of her husband's accused killers otherwise she would have mentioned his name in the list made in 1972. She even presented evidence in court to show how Sayedee was not involved but that didn't have any impact in his verdict.

I dont know much about Bangladeshi politics (find it rather confusing), nor am I interested much in Politics in general. What I do know is am a Proud Muslim and a proud patriotic Bangladeshi origin. I have great love for my religion, my Prohet and my motherland. I support the call for justice for the brutal, evil crimes comited by the Razzakars in 1971. I've heared some bloggers saying bad things about our religion and Prohet; if its true, then, I also support they have to be punished!!!
