Sri Lanka Cricket named a 16-member squad for the Sri Lanka Under-19s tour of Bangladesh which begins in April.

The side will be captained by Prince of Wales’ skipper Kusal Mendis.

Apart from the 16 members of the side who will represent Sri Lanka in the Youth Tests, Sanjika Ridma of St. Servatius Matara and Ramesh Mendis of Dharmasoka Ambalangoda will act as replacements for the Youth One Day Internationals.

Yeah with political issues, they should just do all the matches in Dhaka. Its only U19. Sri Lanka are used to much worse civil strife so they shouldn't back out hopefully.

Not sure what the rules states but they could be too old for the next WC. In that case, it would be better to focus on players playing the WC.
