Empirio Armani (Fell in love with one of the watches but will it last and be as durable as Seiko etc?)
Invicta (Looks good, good price, hit or miss reviews)
Bullova
Fossil

Any ideas??
Akta Rolex ar Tag Hueur kinen bhai. My bondhu who went Switzerland said that the best watches are there. So if you happen to go Switzerland then buy a watch from there. I think good watches start from $160AUD in Switzerland.

fake rolex pawa jai.

that reminds me of a story. back in days, when i was in high school, i had a friend who wore a watch and showing it to all that he had a nice rolax. i didnt understand his enthusiasm. i knew his dad was a cab driver and his family of 4 lived in a rented 1 bedroom apartment. but all the attention made him really happy.

i am pretty sure it was a real rolax..... but why?

Sometimes we underestimate how much a cab driver earns.

Will NSA's PRISM program spell the end of "freedom" in the land of the free as we know it! This secret program is clear intrusion of privacy and way too powerful for any government to have control over.

Freedom != Privacy.

But ...

As someone who is an expert in data sciences and actually have 2 patents on people name disambiguation and creating a people profiles based on documents referring to a person's name, in this day and age of petaflop computing, you better give up on any illusions of privacy. Big brother is watching. And so are his other siblings in other countries. Frankly - I'm fine with sacrificing some privacy for more security. Provided the one doing the connecting of dots and inferencing are above reproach.

Indian politics going through fun times - LK Advani just resigned from all party posts because the BJP elevated Narendra Modi to the unannounced kingpin of the party.

We all know about Modi and the Gujarat riots but LK Advani and his Hindutva + Babri Masjid past is equally sinister. Not sure why Modi is any scarier than LK Advani?

Modi was cleared by the Supreme Court stating that he has no control over the riots, in spite of the pressure given by the present government to rule otherwise. I don't know the truth of it, so can't really comment on that. The funny thing is, he was barred from visiting foreign countries like USA, UK etc by their respective governments, who are now all busy to reverse the ban and invite him in case he becomes the next PM.

He's brought in some brilliant economic reforms and policies in Gujrat, for which he has been elected again, even by the minority. I'll prefer him to be the next PM as opposed to someone who has no power to act independently. I don't support BJP because of their religious views as I believe state governance must be completely secular, but I'd like Modi to play a bigger role in the macroeconomic level.

On the other hand, L.K. Advani,........ Some people doesn't really know when to retire (and I'm not talking about Tendulkar).

More like, keeping away from controversial posts is safer.
