Getting the news - First
( this is turning out to be a race to get the news before anyone else)
I'm guessing our only contact in Namibia is Chinaman's mysterious 'sports writer' friend/contact. Other than him/her, we are pretty much dependent on other web-sites. Which I don't like to do..
How can we get the news 'as it happens' basis - for the next match?
Since Cricinfo isn't covering the match - and the matches are being played in planet mars, what is our strategy to get to the news first?
Any other ideas?

Chinaman's contact is good enough for me.
Otherwise, we would have no choice but to wait for either Bangladesher Khela to update or the sports news from the following Bengali tv channels which are sometimes available and sometimes not at homeviewbangladesh.com; but do they always show live as it is shown in Bangladesh or is it recorded programs that they show?:-
1. BTV
2. ATN Bangla
3. Channel I
4. ntv

Do you guys know of any local newspaper which sent a journalist to cover the tour? If you can get his/her contact info, it should be easier to get more live updates.

Right now Chinaman's man is the man. But we will be playing Namibia again so it is good to be prepared.
Is there a BD embassy there or any BD organisation. Definetely must be some bangalis.
We could publicise ourselves to BD community. Maybe get a fan to come aboard.

I think the local Bangladeshi journalists would not be too interested to go to Namibia, nijeder gater poisha khoroch kore, whereas the newspaper will pay for the journalists for the Zimbabwe series.

Guys, I'll try my best to get the score periodically. The Namibian sports writer gentleman was very kind enough to give me his cell phone number. I donot want to bombered him with calls every 15/20 min even though I love to get the score every 5 min or so. At times there are connection problems too.
Let's keep our hopes high but within practical limits.

Do we have an embassy or any government presence in either country ? Last time we went to Zimbabwe, security was a BIG concern, hows the political/racial situation in Zimbabwe now ?
Let us know if you find out about any bd presense in Zimbabwe and Namibia. We will try to contact the and see if something can be set up.
