Yap, there is some news.
well, only one news.
......its been raining the whole day pretty much.
and it rained heavy.

I highly doubt there would be any game tomorrow.

I highly doubt there would be any game in the upcoming series actually.
after all, its the rainy season.

Actually, Mirpur has the best drainage system in the world, so I suspect that there will be matches.

May be not the best in the world, but probably a really good one.
Best in Asian cricket stadiums though.

Btw, it rained 74mm just in Dhaka alone today.
so big test for Mirpur tomorrow.

There's a reserve day for all the matches including the final.

So I don't think all the matches will be washed out.

That is the only way we can get to the finals. Two washed out games would give us four points. The winner of Ind-Pak team would have six the loser would have two. We play the finals and may be win it? Thunder bolt striked?

all matches have a reserve day. there will prolly be at least some action. but i'd hate to see anything less than 40-40 cricket in ODIs.

Have you memorised "ie brishti jhepey"? If not, do it now. Only if you want our team to be in the finals.
mutually exclusive:
Choice 1: Bd in Finals (1 game). (start praying)
Choice 2: You want to see Bd in action in the regular matches and not in the finals. (2 games)

i'd rather see us in 2 games rather then 1

we always get 3 ODI series, and guess what in the 4th sakib scored a TON. we need more games if want to start accumulating some accolades. final jeetar moto shomai hoi nai akhono...might as well play 2 games rather than just 1 where we will lose BADLY (if we get a free ride to the finals, the batsmen will all throw their wickets inside 10 overs and the other team will chase the total down in 20 balls -> game over in 45 minutes).

I have alwyas wondered, why dont the bd curators actually cover the whole ground in those plastic sheets, at least that way when it does stop raining, on that day they will at least be able to get an international cricket match going.

This is an international cricket series after all, i think more professionalism in this area could be shown

They've done this today. And they will be doing this throughout the series.
