Future changes in Cricket
1) Double sided bat. What do you guys think of this?
2) Double fine for slow over-rate. Ponting must be thinking of retirement.
3) Switch hitting. What the ....? This is to keep over-rated KP happy?
4) Referral. Mouth watering!! Where are you Ashoka?
5) Day/night test matches. We need some bowlers who can take advantage of the dew.
6) Light green and pink ball.
++++
For #2, they are concerned about the viewers concentration. Yet, they did nothing on barren pitches which takes the viewers interest away!! I wonder ei shob ICC board members kon dokan'er chal khai? I am not going to complain much though. I want Ponting to suffer.

Our luck will never change.
Say the on field umpire turns down an lbw appeal. Opponents will refer, and the referral umpire will then adjudge that our batsman is out.
No matter what the system is, partiality can exist.

Here is my take
1) Double sided bat. What do you guys think of this?
Thanks Gopal
2) Double fine for slow over-rate. Ponting must be thinking of retirement.
After playing in all those PLs it would be short change for Ponting, Smith and all those who have pace battery
3) Switch hitting. What the ....? This is to keep over-rated KP happy?
Is not reverse sweep is switch hitting. It was media gimmick from friends of KP
4) Referral. Mouth watering!! Where are you Ashoka?
Asoka would be the in the TV room acting as referral umpire
5) Day/night test matches. We need some bowlers who can take advantage of the dew.
But our spinners would become useless
6) Light green and pink ball.
Who cares

1) Double sided bat. What do you guys think of this?
- nonsense. how will the base be built in double sided bat? in double sided flat bat batsmen will have no control of shots.
2) Double fine for slow over-rate. Ponting must be thinking of retirement.
-good
3) Switch hitting. What the ....? This is to keep over-rated KP happy?
-not sure
4) Referral. Mouth watering!! Where are you Ashoka?
this was tested in west indies during england tour. the problem was that batsmen had little time to ask for referral or batsmen wasn't sure whether to appeal if it wasn't within the batsmen field of view.
5) Day/night test matches. We need some bowlers who can take advantage of the dew.
- might be good to attract viewers.
6) Light green and pink ball.
- will attract more female viewers.

I suggest penalty in runs/overs instead like they did before. 5 runs deducted for every 10 minutes slow over rate
3) Switch hitting. What the ....? This is to keep over-rated KP happy?
Yes as long as the bowler is given the liberty of suprising the batsman by bowling with a different hand. Currently , before every over, the bowler has to inform the batsman, via the umpire, which hand he is going to use and which side of the wicket he is bowling from. If the batsman can simply change his stance midway through an over without informing anybody, why can't the bowler ?
6) Light green and pink ball.
Light green YES , Pink NO ! We want cricket to spread for the right reasons.

This question was raised before and ICC had no clear explanation. They are trying to give all the advantage to the batsmen. No more than 1 bouncer, free hits, now switch hitting. All in favor of the batsman. The only help the bowler got was the degree he could bend while bowling.
